Mumtaz Leeds is an atmospheric waterside restaurant down at Leeds Dock that offers guests lavish surroundings and delicious food. Mumtaz specialises in cuisine from Kashmir, a Himalyan region where the borders of India and Pakistan meet. Around since 1974, this is the second restaurant from the Mumtaz family and their commitment to culinary traditions is most evident. The menu offers a gastronomic exploration of Kashimiri dishes, from soups and appetisers to curries, biryanis and unique specialities. With views over the water, an exuberant interior and chic decor throughout the dining room, a meal at Mumtaz Leeds is all about sophistication and quality. Located on Chadwick Street, just across the way from The Calls and the city centre, it’s the perfect place if you’re craving authentic Indian and Pakistani food in Leeds.

Walked into a full of character and extravagant art deco setting. The waiter was pleasant and great with the children too. The curries were excellent, with lamb karahi being the best. Naan were soft and delicious. The food was hot and the masala fish was lovely. Clean and spacious. Fantastic atmosphere! Stick to the curries, starters and original pakistani/indian cuisine, which is what Mumtaz is known for!
