It is the place that adds spice to your London visit. Very good food. Lovely and helpful staff and very, very reasonable prices considering how ridiculously expensive London has become. Well done to all and keep up the good work.

Great eating experience, having travelled from the Isle of Man, but being a Londoner was not disappointed, Great service and excellent food, will definitely return on our next trip. Kim

I booked a table for 12 at Nazrul and when we got there we were all ushered into the restaurant next door instead. This was quite annoying as I had done a lot of research to choose Nazrul. Food took a while to come out (but there was 12 of us so that is understandable). However the atmosphere of the restaurant was very raucous. The table next to us was a party of about 30 men who were all chanting and playing drinking games and. the waiters did little to calm them down. When the bill came we were short of a few pounds but instead of politely asking us to pay the difference it was rather accusational. We paid the dfference and left pretty sharpish. Overall experience not great and I wouldn’t recommend.

Amazing food, fast and friendly service. All the three curry houses next to each other are using the same menu which was in expected. But I still could not complain. A++++

Excellent food 10 out of 10 but it’s interior needs updating to feel more relaxing and maybe romantic , it feels more like a cafe than a restaurant other than that I would recommend it

The food is fantastic! I recommend this restaurant in the heart of Brick Lane. Nice discount on beer and wine from a local shop. And try out the chocolate shop next door!

Good atmosphere and excellent food...as always. We felt a little hurried after being there an hour from 7-8 on a Saturday night. Looking forward to our next visit.

Thought I had booked the ‘oldest restaurant on Brick Lane’. Disappointed to be actually whisked next door but one, to a different building with the name Cinnamon.. Food was okay, poppadums don’t come with lime pickle which would have offered a boost to the sweetness of all the other dips. The lamb starter was tough and needed a steak knife, the main was however just above average, delightfully succulent chicken special.. If i had ordered takeout and this came I would be thrilled, for a special night out though? Think again I say..

Absolutely fabulous meal with big family gathering. They made us feel really welcome, treated us as Royalty and dished up absolutely wonderful food. Our 'host', Rob, was especially attentive and delivered up a birthday surprise off the cuff! Made the evening really special. Nazrules O.K. as they used to say when I went there back in the 80's. They've still got that little something extra that makes The Nazrul stand head and shoulders above all the other restaurants in Brick Lane.

food was amazing!! best curry had for ages!! restaurant was a little crammed and you couldn't move much and service was average - but this doesn't take away from the fact the food was great!!

Overall a 3 as one of the dishes were a complete let down. It would have been a solid 4 if not for the lamb jalfrezi. They had used strips of tandoori meat instead of chunks braised in the sauce which is just lazy and unacceptable. I have to say this really ruined my experience.

The food was really nice, and we were served quickly, however it was all a bit chaotic and rushed. I would definitely eat here again, I just feel that the waiters should give us more time to get settled and not try and talk us into ordering the mixed platter - when we have only just sat down. But I would recommend as food was lovely.

We had a table booked for 6pm but were so hungry we got in at 5 as quiet which was great. Food amazing so much of it. Only criticism would be the plates were brought out cold. But lovely otherwise. Good value considering its London

Amazing food, the chef specials are incredible, just pointless to book as they didn't have a reserved table, seemed a little too chaotic with the tables when we arrived

Service was appalling, food was less than ordinary. Apparently Nazrul shares its kitchen with Aladin next door, so while I booked at Aladin, I was seated at Nazrul. Grilled chicken dish was full of onions, paneer dish was laden with sweet sauce. Chicken and lamb biryanis were decent. This place is for European tourists who go to brick lane for its culture and vibrancy, not food and specially not at Nazrul. Certainly not the best Resturant as they claim.

The chicken dish recommended by the waiter was very salty with more sauce than chicken. The chicken pieces were diced so small and there was very little fish in my boyfriend's meal. I did let the waiter know this but he's more concerned with earning money than customer retention. We won't be going back.

The restaurant was excellent as usual. The food and service was great. Unfortunately, they were not ready for us when we arrived and made us wait outside in the rain. They then tried to take us to a restaurant two doors down and put us downstairs. Luckily, I had read about this on Tripadvisor and would not accept this. Real shame, because the rest of the meal was fine
