About New Moon Tapas

New Moon Tapas is all about creating little dishes of love and serving them in a restaurant that’s as charming a spot as anywhere you’ll find in Bristol. This is a hotspot of Clifton and though you might assume that tapas in the name means Spanish is the game, do think again. The kitchen at New Moon is led by TK and his two decades of experience in preparing cuisines from all over the world. So, naturally, you’ll find that international cuisines are explored here on The Mall and the very best of them are prepared using locally-sourced, seasonal and damn fine produce. The result is a tapas experience like no other. Reserve a table now then stop by for lunch or dinner. Job done.

It was absolutely splendid. I can't speak highly enough of the friendliness and efficiency of the staff (especially our charming waitress), or the quality of the food. The patatas bravas were honestly the best I have ever had - light and fluffy - but everything was delicious, with a good range of dishes to suit all tastes. I would highly recommend it.

Well not that great this time round, we had a mix of Tapas, the first three dishes were barely warm enough to eat, reckon they were waiting on the pass for some time. Also, the plates themselves were stone cold, so you can imagine, the food was cooling down so fast that we were rushing to get to the next dish. Out of 9 dishes the only one that was hot and last to be served was the Patatas Bravas which I would have preferred first as we had hoped to eat the Patatas with the other Tapas dishes
