Great food but waiters not very engaging , felt very rushed, it seemed the waiters were keen to get home, everyone disappeared at the end of the evening which was very odd !

The food is still good quality but I think it's starting to out price itself. We had 3 main courses and none was less than £13 each. A pint of cobra is now £6 and a mandatory service charge is added to the bill for service that was inattentive at times. It's a restaurant that's starting to slip. It's one of those restaurants that the owner needs to be there.

The food was very tasty but didn't arrive at the same time leaving 2 of us waiting for our main course while the other 2 tucked into their curries. The service was also a bit erratic.

The food was really good, the service was perfect. However the loud music was a bit too much, hard to talk with friends without screaming.

The food was good as was the service. The food temperature, when served was very hot. This was our second visit and will surely go again.

Food was excellent, service was accommodating but a little slow and we had to make a couple of reminders for things that had been ordered.

Great food, good atmosphere. Not pretentious. Service is good, waiters make good suggestions on what to order. Wine list limited. Venue works either for meal as a couple or with friends.

Lovely food and service but the music was rather loud which meant that given the complete lack of soft furnishings and the very high ceiling we middle aged folk found it very hard to hear one another. It's one of the reasons we often end up at the Golden Curry in Oatlands instead.

The food was lovely, when we EVENTUALLY got it. We arrived at the restaurant at 6.45, ordered our meal at 7.05, received our meal at 7.50!!!. We had our 2 granddaughters with us who were supposed to be home in bed by 8.00pm. So we were not very happy because we had to wait so long for our meal.

Great food and a great restaurant. Excellent service and staff who dealt very well with an unnecessarily rude customer at the table next to us.

Food was good, service was good, but it was a bit noisy. The restaurant was nicely decorated, but was a little bland, needs some colour.

Food was on point and I would recommend this restaurant for this reason. However, staff could definitely be friendlier and more welcoming, which is the only disappointing aspect of this restaurant unfortunately. Hopefully the owner reads these reviews and addresses this.

Great service and great food. Restaurant was very warm so aircon must have been broken but a high quality problem in this country. Lovely meal.

The menu was a bit limited compared to other Indian Restaurants in the area. However, the food was excellent and i would certainly go there again. The members of staff were very attentive and pleasant. Good value for the money

Very nice food and wine. Attentive service. Loved the mixed grill. The Restuarant has a contemporary and light atmosphere and is nice and buzzy. Will be regulars.

Usual friendly ambience, service & great food. Having been away on holiday for a couple of weeks, it was so nice to be able to enjoy the fantastic food at Number 7. We really had missed it!

usual great welcome when arriving, with drinks at the bar. A couple of popadoms whilst awaiting our mains. Fabulous chicken shashlik dinner for 2 with vegetables and breads. Another great time. Simply the best Indian around!

Service was lacking. Food for the premium price was not any better in my mind than a standard Indian. Happy to pay high prices for exceptional food; however this was not!

Great food and atmosphere and good service. Tip to the owner - kick your cleaners to do a better job in the toilets. They could be cleaner and you don't want customers thinking if the same cleaners clean the kitchen...

While the food was very good, the service could have been better. We were seated by a very friendly and enthusiastic waiter but once seated were then served by someone else who was less than friendly and not very approachable for fun communication. The food however was very good and tasty. The prices are a little higher than the usual Indian restaurant but that would not stop us from going again.

Food was excellent, service was good too. My only concern is that a service charge is put on the bill, when you pay by card you're then invited to leave a tip. I don't think this is right

A very good flavoursome curry, nice atmosphere and attentive staff, can't quite believe the cost, £15 for a main dish, that's the most I've ever spent on a curry dish that wasn't at a michellin star place. Very nice meal but I'll stick with Tooting for the best curry for the money.

They got 4 of our 7 dishes wrong and not once did they ask if all was ok. Very disappointing as their prices are far above average and expect the same level of service.

Hugely disappointed with the restaurant in terms of taste, value for money and service. Prices were on par with London equivalents, but sadly the quality of the food and portions were not. We ordered the mixed grill platter which required consultation between three waiters before knowing what it consisted of. On arrival it was small in portion, not even two pieces of everything and very bland. The paneer in particular had absolutely no flavour. The tomato base for the railway lamb tava was overdone and even the simple tarka daal was under cooked. This taste may suit the palettes of their regular patrons, but this is not authentic Indian cooking. Unfortunately, No.7 Temple have a monopoly on the market given the lack of Indian restaurants in the area. Please don't use the price as a benchmark for upscale quality. Aside from the ambience, there are few redeeming features. Overall, a very poor experience and we have no intention of visiting again.

We had chicken Madras (perfect amount of heat) and the gun powder (hotter than vindaloo) shrimp. Both were excellent!! Made the reservation 30 mins before arriving and there was no wait for a table once we arrived.

We have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it, however our lastest visit was very disappointing. The time between our starters and main course was far to long caused by the restaurant giving priority to take away orders. That was very poor. Also one of our side dishes contained plastic wrapping within the dish. Given that the restaurant is more expensive than your average Indian restaurant we expected far better. Very disappointing.
