Very good service, efficient staff, amazing food, good atmosphere, it's a no brainer coming back over and over! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back over and over.

This is a good Portuguese restaurant, with traditional food, reasonably prices and a pretty elegant atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, could be a good first experience of Portuguese/mediterranean food.

Food variable, wine fine; ambience conviviable, and noisy because of of the busyness of the place. Booking important particularly at peak times, like the Saturday we wanted to go.

What a great evening Portuguese style!!! I have noticed the restaurant for many years but never tried it, yesterday was my first opportunity and will certainly not be last!!! The food was great and the portions extremely generous. There's is also a very large choice of dishes that would conquer any palate. Me and a friend had grilled fish and it was delicious, try the octopus that is just amazing!!! The third friend is currently on a 'no carbs' diet and she could easily find a succulent low calories dish that she very enjoyed whilst still watching the pounds!!! The atmosphere is also great, sort of a family run business, it reminded me of places where I have eaten in Lisbon. The service is very friendly and welcoming...... Can't wait to return and enjoy it all again!!! A suggestion to the owner would just be to revamp a bit the outside front of the restaurant by removing the dry plant and planting some flowers. People try it and you will not be disappointed!!! Paolo

Delicious authentic Portuguese food (I recommend the shared seafood platter) - large portions, great wine & friendly staff. Loved it! I would definitely go again.

The food was amazing with a good price. The waiters are kind amd the place in clean. They have portuguese foos, drinks and desserts. We will return!

Very friendly host. Large portions of very tasty food and a decent red house wine. Nice bread with pate and olives keep us happy until main food order arrived.

Eu esperava mais organizacao porque a comida nao foi o que eu e o meu marido tinhamos previsto e por isso tivemos que pagar dinheiro a mais e havia la 2 criancas que Deveriam ter pago menos e nao pagaram,pagaram o mesmo que os adults!! Gostei da comida estava boa mas quando a organizacao nem por isso. Axo k nao voltaremos la tao cedo!!

Waiters were really helpful and attentive and they offer a good price for the massive portions. Another good thing is that they don't add any service charge unless most of London restaurants.

Wrong food served, sent back but my partner had his and had to wait another 30 for mine. One of the waiters seemed upset but if Iam paying then I should be served as asked anyhow not going there again!!

I went for dinner with a girl friend last Friday night. The staff were very efficient and friendly and our food came quite quickly. I had the pork with clams which was really good and my friend had the steak with onions, which disappointingly tasted like a school dinner. We had the 'sawdust' dessert which was the highlight of the meal (biscuit crumbs with a vanilla mousse). Overall, great service and vibe, but maybe give the steak and onions a miss!

The food and service was really good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The veal croquettes were average however the garlic prawns were amazing. The main courses were very generous so go easy on the starters!

Authentic Portuguese dining experience - great grilled fish, simple, well cooked vegetables and caring service. The friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere was helped by Benfica playing on the TV !

This place is great. The food is yummy, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very family friendly. I am always pleased to eat there. The portions are very generous so be aware of that when you order food. We always have an extra meal left when we go eat there.

Make no mistake, when it comes to portuguese food O Cantinho is one of the best. Friendly staff, great food, nice space. If you want to try portuguese food, or if you are homesick or even you want to watch portuguese football.

I have a home in Portugal and have visited many top spots in Lisbon and in Porto. This restaurant would not be out of place in either city, rural town or sea-side village. Typically Portuguese portion size, value for money, kind staff and the biggest testiment is that the local portugeuse eat and drink there. Very good. Only slight criticism - Brits might be offended by the chilled out nature of staff... They are in no rush to get you out the door but for me that's a good thing!

Good and reasonably priced food (<£30 for meal for two inclusive of drinks). Generous portions. We shared a main (cod) and starter (sardines), which was plenty for two adults. The atmosphere is that of a "cantinho"; familiar and a bit noisy from people talking loudly. There are television screens on the wall with sports and Portuguese news (silent). Overall wholeheartedly recommended for an authentic Portuguese meal.

I absolutely love this place, it's so authentic and reminds me of living in Portugal. It's not a posh place but is really clean and has a great atmosphere. We went on a Friday night and it was packed by 9pm, lots of families and pretty much everyone else there was Portuguese. The staff are really friendly and the food is great. We had 2 beers, a good bottle of vinho verde, pasteis de bacalhao, 2 main meals and coffees and it cost c £50 - amazing value!!!! I would definitely recommend it. It is no more than a 5 minute walk from stockwell tube.

Great food and great service. Definitely a place that makes you feel like you have just stepped into Portugal and to one of it's good local cuisine restaurants. Definitely recomment it!
