The Old Bank Bistro in the heart of Moreton is built in, well, an old bank. The menu at their location on the corner of Upton Road and Chadwick Street (right by the main roundabout) is filled with British pub classics, and is one that, if you’ll excuse us, you can bank on. The grill is the star of the show, with gammon and fried eggs, steak and lamb chops options – or all together in their mixed grill – as well as burgers, fajitas and ribs. Veggies can try the mushroom, red onion and creme fraiche pasta, and regulars will happily inform you of their Sunday lunch, which is among the best to be found on the Wirral. Make your journey out to Moreton and stop off at the Old Bank Bistro – just remember to book your table ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
