Had a lovely afternoon with friends. The food and service were very good

We go regularly which gives you an idea of our view. They serve a great curry. But tonight they excelled themselves with the Kabul lamb. I’ve seldom had better lamb in any type of restaurant and with the sauce and chickpeas it was sublime. Draught Cobra is the ideal accompaniment. We pass around half a dozen Indian restaurants between our house and Haymarket but are never tempted to stop off elsewhere. Omar Khayyam is our go to restaurant for a meal out.

Once again Omar Khayyam was excellent, the ambience, service and menu is excellent. I really like Omar Khayyam and go there fairly regularly. From being greeted at the door to leaving our experience is always great and I would recommend Omar Khayyam.

We had an amazing dining experience as usual. Food was absolutely exquisite. Service was 2nd to none as always. I would highly recommend the Omar to anyone who loves good food at a very reasonable cost. You will not be disappointed, trust me.

The food did not meet my expectations; the flavors were bland and lacked the authenticity and depth I was hoping for. Despite the menu’s promising descriptions, the dishes fell short in taste and presentation.

Went for the fixed price lunch menu as it’s great value. The choices if mains is limited so check you line the choice before you go. The location is great for transport hub and the restaurant feels fresh and pleasant to dine in.

This restaurant is in a great location close to Train and tram line and short distance from the city centre. I had the three course lunch which is great value and they do not scrimp on the portions.
