Opa Bath

The restaurant was a lovely dining experience. The foodcwas amazing. Staff and owner made our dining experience very special, especially as it was our friends birthday, she enjoyed plate smashing.

This might be a nice place for local couples to grab a casual bite or have an evening cocktail. Those in a more demanding mood will not find particularly refined food, sophisticated wines or an outstanding service here, which is a pity, given what can be expected from Greek cuisine and culture. Based on my experience, the waiters fulfill the basic requirements but do not excel, while the decor and atmosphere don’t quite match what the pictures suggest. Not bad, but not among the very best options either, if you’re in Bath for a couple of days.

This place is great we definitely recommend, brilliant Greek hospitality and we will be going back for more.

The venue and food were really amazing. Slightly dissapointed on service. We were early so was sat at the bar then escorted to our table when it was ready. No menu was given to us and we were left sat waiting for around 20mins I had to go to the kitchen to ask for menus. Other than that the food was delicious and venue was lovely atmosphere.

We had a great meal there. The food was amazing although we probably ordered a bit too much. It’s a lovely cozy atmosphere where it is near the river. Would definitely return.

This was our second time to bath and stumbled across opa the first time we came. So we couldn't not come to bath without dining there again and bought family with us. The food was amazing yet again and the service was brilliant. The waiter we had was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.. Unfortunately we didn't catch his name but a credit to the team

Excellent food with wonderful service and in a great location

Food was excellent. We were only given the a la carte menu and had to ask for the lunch menu. A hefty service charge was added, approximately 13%.

It was a truly a wonderful evening for us to enjoy with our Family . The food was excellent and presented beautifully and enjoyed by all. The service we received from the staff was of s very high standard and we look forward to dining again in the beautiful ambience of your Restaurant. Thank you.

It was the first time we had been to Opa in ages and it didn’t disappoint. The only thing lacking was atmosphere, which isn’t a criticism of the restaurant, we were there early and will go a little later next time. The food was superb and the staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely return.

Really good ambience and exceptional food … delicious and very plentiful . The chicken kebabs were huge and very succulent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the evening very much !

Excellent food in a great location by the River Avon in Bath.

I love the Opa restaurant atmosphere & the service as well as the food were very good indeed. I'm only sorry that there were so few diners in such a large area. Perhaps more advertising would help? After all it is tourist high season.

What an incredible place. Loved the atmosphere and the service was second no none.. the waitress was there when you needed her all the way through our stay. The food was perfect from starters to mains.. Will definitely be booking to go there again

Terrible decision to book this restaurant. We booked a table and got seated on a high table between a party group of a stag do with loud music. When we asked to get seated somewhere else, they gave us a wobbly table outside under a tree where branches fell into our water. When we asked for another table, we were told there were none. However, several other tables were empty. We then left without ordering and had to find another restaurant on a busy evening. No one told us about the stag do and they did not give us a proper table, despite the booking. No one apologised for the treatment. I would avoid the restaurant.

A gorgeous location with delicious food, great drinks and friendly staff. A real treat!

We shared a platter, so we could sample a few different dishes, and enjoyed a couple of cocktails. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was lovely and the basement venue is quirky, but beautiful. We were recommended Opa by friends and would definitely recommend it to others.

We came from Staffordshire for my Mom’s 70th birthday They surprised her with a birthday dessert with a sparkling candle. This Was the best Greek food I’ve ever had, I’ve eaten a lot of Greek food this was by far the best. I would definitely recommend this restaurant Thank you for making mom’s birthday special xx

Lovely food . Very nice staff and a gorgeous restaurant

Was given a high table and stools at the bar which we hadn't requested. It was noisy with people queuing next to us. Asked to move tables was told the only one available was outside. Asked for our deposit back the manager was unhelpful and off hand, refusing to return it. We left and had a lovely meal with good service at zezes. There were 6 in our party.

The manager looked after us brilliantly and made my son's birthday with the flaming candles lol. Food was great. Definitely will be back

Enjoyed the food. Very loud due to at least two noisy hen parties. Trying to book a reservation was a bit disorganised.

Despite my nephew and I changing the time of our booking a few times, staff were always helpful to accommodate. For starters, we had: mixed olives; greek gambas; yia yia spinach pies, and cretan ntolmadakia. Then, for mains, we shared the feast of the titans all washed down with bierra moretti. It was quite busy even for 5:30 pm on a Saturday. However, the service was excellent. Thoroughly delicious and would recommend.

Been previously and has been great for my dietary restrictions and called them up and was told there would be gluten free veggie options (have coeliac) but not much and no real attempt to try. Sat in a place with broken glass windows with 1 year old. Not brought things that we ordered. Not a good experience.
