So good would recommend to anyone, very nice place to eat

We visited fairly early in the evening so it was fairly quiet, but only because every time from 1800-2000 was booked, however the ambiance was good, the service was v. good the meal was excellent and the prices were very reasonable; this was our first visit but we had intended to visit much earlier after it opened but as grandparents of five, things get in the way; in general, better ambiance, better service and much better food than other apparently, more popular national Italian restaurants: fully recommend a visit: we will be back with the rest of the family but perhaps without the grand-kids although they're welcome if they want to come! PS I may be biased, my Italian wife's father owned an Italian restaurant in Edinburgh and if she says it was good, it was good, cheers and good dining!

The food was lovely, service very good and the place itself was nice

Excellent food and great overall service. Very attentive and traditional service by the men. Nice to see. Good price too. Nice venue and fairly relaxed atmosphere.

We waited over one hour for our food.When the order came it was wrong . Hake instead of sea bass.The function room was open and noisy and the hard of hearing person we were with could hear nothing 2 small children on the next table were crabby , possibly because of the celebrations.We did get the cost of a main course knocked off but not without complaining.There were plenty of waiters and not enough chefs. Avoid this place at all costs

Great start drinks & food order taken quickly. Food arrived in a timely manner, however that is where it ends. Our mains we’re cleared awalt & we waited over 20 mins to be offered dessert while staff stood around & talked in the end we went to the bar to pay the bill. We were also placed next to a table of very loud girls & I struggled to hear my partner speak, i thought this was bad as other tables were available , it willbe a while before we go again pity

Food nice, but not amazing. Would go back again, but equally wouldn't be bothered if I didn't go ever again. Service left a lot to be desired.

Excellent service excellent food, reasonably priced, catered for all our needs, two sons and two grandsons with all different choices and everyone was impressed highly recommend.

Lovely meal. Starter took a while to come but was very busy. It was really nice when it did arrive. The main meal was amazing. This was our second visit and it certainly won't be our last. Look forward to the next time

Service and food excellent. Drinks, compared to another Italian we frequent, were dearer. Would go again as the menu was wide and varied with a very good vegetarian selection

Went on new years eve, they put some new staff on. Beautiful food and presentation, great prices and atmospher. Service can be slow but helps rest your belly's before next course.

Food was good, service was good. However for a family of four, bill was nearly £20 a head, so not purse/wallet friendly dinner outfox the family.

Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food, the vegan menu is incredible and the owner is absolutely lovely, all the staff were really friendly. Feels like you've gone round to a friend's for dinner, no stuffiness at all. prices are super reasonable too. It's our new favourite!

Waited a long time to have our order taken. Starters were very nice when they finally came. Had to wait a long time again for our mains which again were very nice. We booked our meal for 6.45pm. It was gone 9pm when our mains arrived. It was very busy and there appeared to be a lot of staff.

Our first visit and it was very nice. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Food was cooked as requested and was very tender and flavorful. Would definitely recommend this is anyone in the area looking for a nice meal.

Beautiful Italian style food served by enthusiastic, polite waiters and waitresses. The restaurant provides a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy a relaxed outing. The hotel thankfully has been transformed from the run down closed down building to a warm vibrant eatery and hotel in a good promenant position. Well worth a visit. Xx.

A group of six went for the lunchtime menu .There was a great atmosphhere and staff very friendly The food was great and plenty of choice

the service from the staff was very good along with a pleasant atmosphere. Restaurant was busy but did not feel like it. The food was also very nice and didn’t take too long after ordering even though it was busy.

Good food, staff had to much to do on the night we were there . Employers need to reassess the staffing levels to ensure there are enough to cope with the amount of people booked in for meals.
