very nice place food was lovely and the service was quick and helpful will definitely return had the carbonara which was beautiful and it was very reasonable price aswell all in all we really enjoyed the whole night

Excellent Italian in a quirky room, fantastic staff and amazing service even at it's peak time. Definitely the best Italian I've eaten at this year by far.

We arrived early for our booking and the helpful staff showed us to our table straight away.The restaurant was busy but the staff were great. We ordered drinks and antipasto which was delicious and enough for four of us. We all ordered different meals for our main course . The food was served piping hot and freshly prepared. We all agreed that the food was delicious. Unfortunately we had no room for desert, although they looked wonderful. All in all we had a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable cost. We will be returning to try other dishes on the menu in the near future.

My self, my husband and our daughter went for a meal, each of the meals were lovely, tasted great, the staff were very friendly, helpful and cheerful, would recommend to anyone, and would visit again

We would highly recommend this Italian restaurant, the atmosphere is friendly and staff are welcoming, the food is freshly made and taste lovely and served nice and hot. No complaints from us and can't wait to go back soon to sample something else on the menu.

Service and food was nice, although chicken was pink in the middle, but was sorted out without problem not sure if I would go again

Our first time here the food was great and service was brilliant. I expected an expensive night out as we had bottles of wine and prosecco with our food but was pleasantly surprised when the bill came Will most definitely return.

I've visited Osteria many times now and I've never been disappointed. Nice food and portion size, plenty of choice and friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a visit any time of the week.

Food was amazing. Small mistake but quickly rectified. Service was great. Not many people in so the food come quickly and was lovely and piping hot. Would recommend.

I booked the table for a 12:30 lunch, we were a group of four who arrived early at 12:00(ish), we were greeted gracefully and allocated a table of our choice, it was a lovely experience. the service, menu and quality of food was fabulous. It's a pity that we live so far away (one couple in the midlands the other in Durham) or I would use the restaurant more often. If you live locally I would highly recommend the Osteria, I'll bet the evening service is something to behold. Grazie mille

Food was excellent however the service was lacking. Had to wait nearly 30 minutes god menus and then the service was slow throughout the evening. Cannot fault the food. If service improved this place would be a little gem.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The food I thought was pretty average. I had the lasagne which was quite dry and salty. The rest of the party was happy especially two of our group who had the vegan menu. They were very pleased with their food. I found it very strange that we were not offered the desert menu or ask if we wanted coffee. I suppose it's the restaurant's loss!!

Great food, in a lovely setting a small mistake with the food was rectified quickly without fuss. We would certainly visit again in the future

Service 1st class food eye appealing as well as tasty and fresh ,and portions just right size no faults at all toilets clean decorations 1st class

Delicious food, good choice, efficient pleasant staff and a relaxed atmosphere. What more could you ask for. I am sute that we will be returning again soon.

Had a fab meal, highly recommend the king prawn risotto and the mushroom risotto. Only down side you don’t have the option to leave a tip when paying by card so make sure you have some cash on you. We will be back with cash very soon

This place has a lovely atmosphere and great food. Couldn’t fault it at all. We arrived to the restaurant late but they still catered for us.

The food, service and atmosphere at Osteria are all excellent. We were a party of six, three meat-eaters, one vegetarian and two vegans and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. We were privileged to see a draft of the new vegan menu that’s coming soon, which had plenty of options, so we’ll definitely be returning for more excellent Italian food.

Staff very friendly and helpful, food was very good, impressed with decor and layout, excellent value for money. Will definitely be going back and will recommend to others.

Food was lovely and service was great. Although I did want to point out there was a toilet like smell in the restaurant. I would go back again though. Overall very nice.

Excellent food and service, lovely surroundings the only downside was we waited a while for anyone to take our order, and waited a while for it to be served however it was a saturday night and it was busy.

Went here for meal with my son on his last night home.it was good service and good food.nice setting in restaurant and good value for money.

Service is fine but the food, particularly the main courses were very average. Tough lamb dish as a daily special and very salty pasta dish with meatballs. Waiter didn't charge for the lamb dish but would have rather paid and had good food!

My daughter and I spent a pleasant evening at Osterio, the staff were polite and cheerful and the food was very good especially the carponara. We would certainly eat there again.

Couldn't fault the staff. Very accommodating. Mario was really Super!! The tables are a little large for the restaurant. The food was ok but very basic and a tad over salted.

The welcome and service we're excellent, attentive but no overbearing. The food was delicious, we had risotto which was tasty and warming with plenty of seafood. The carbonara was better than Auntie Maggie'. Value for money too, starters, mains and wine for everyone for less than £25 per person.

The food and service was nothing more than fair and will not be returning. If you are looking for basic pizza and pasta dishes then it maybe ok
