Fab steaks and friendly, attentive staff. The only suggested improvement would be to have hand cut/homemade fries, as they are obviously shop bought and it’s such a shame when the steak is so amazing!

Food is always really well cooked and tasty. Service is also great. Love going on the £1 an ounce night. Great value for money.

The staff and service were excellent considering how tight the tables are when occupied they do an incredible job. My only personal observation rather than a criticism is that I am a beer drinker and I did not like the only two beers on offer tried both. They could be improved especially when having steak. The menu's font although unique to them is not easy to read in the low light conditions and makes it hard to make the words out. Plus they have 5 or 5.5 after the items which i now know are the costs so what's wrong with showing as a money value. We go for the great food and ambience its not rocket science so keep the menu simple and easy to understand i think they are trying to over think it. My view. There was a number of puddings on offer but again choice for me was limited so had to settle with ice cream which was just okay. I would go again and recommend to friends no problem.

New Years Eve. Luckily, we managed to get a table due to high demand. This did not stop the staff from being on fine form with professionalism. Credit to all working. Only took a 16oz steak at a rare level. Cooked perfectly. Very slight bit of gristle but nothing to ruin it. Side of cauliflower cheese and bacon / cabbage. All were excellent. Accompanied by a small Chilean red. Excellent food and service as usual.

Celebrated new year early with excellent served meals, cooked exactly as ordered, excellent service as always.

Fantastic steak melted in your mouth, Yorkshire puddings hard and dry,needs more jus,but at £7 for a small jug ---!!! Veg very al dente but overall very good vfm. Lovely helpful staff. We will recommend and return!😋

Amazing food, absolutely unreal. The steak was phenomenal and all the sides just as good! Not a long wait at all for peak time on a Saturday, and all the staff friendly and helpful

Our first visit and not one we are likely to repeat. We were seated upstairs which in itself wasn’t a problem, however, there was no heating apart from a small electric heater which was turned off and with the kitchens upstairs they had clearly got the windows or a door open and you could feel the cold blowing through. The young girl serving us was pleasant enough but didn’t seem to be coping particularly well and rather than laying the cutlery on the table she chose to pass the them from the end of the table and the same happened when the food arrived. The food was ok but not exceptional. Overall with the excellent reviews I had read prior to our visit I expected more.

As always, the food was great. The staff were kind and very welcoming. Looking forward to going back again very soon.

Excellent food and service - although a busy night the overall service was fab

Our favourite place for food. Always absolutely perfect. Visit only spoilt by obnoxiously loud woman on the next table, due to the closeness of the tables, literally sat back to back, there was no getting away from it. Usually we would stay longer for cocktails after the meal and have more drinks during but due to her we ate quickly and left. Not a reflection on the staff or food.
