It was good value although most of our party had the 1.00 an ounce. Mine and my husbands and another one of the party our steaks were chewy. In fact my husbands words were im fed up with chewing. Service was excellent. But a shame the steak fir three of us were a disappointment

Have been many times in the past. We always go for the butchers choice as it’s such good value for money. Wasn’t as tender as usual tonight and was a weird shape but still enjoyable and we had a lovely time.

We booked this after a recommendation from friends. The steaks were delicious and cooked exactly as we liked them. We took advantage of the £1 an ounce offer and the meat was superb. They certainly know what they’re doing. I rarely eat out but this will not be a ‘one off’. The service was spot on, good and unobtrusive. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be going again in the not too distant! Our meat was originally a little too rare, rather than the medium we both ordered but the staff and the chef dealt with this immediately and it was no trouble. Upon returning our meals they made sure we both had fresh fries and salad. The staff were plenty attentive and they provided all information about the food but without being intrusive. Great afternoon! Thank you!

Fantastic value steaks - consistently the best ones we've had. Service during the meal was great but a bit slow when it came time to clear and bring the bill although by then they were quite busy (still covid safe though!) By far our favourite steak house and one my sister- a connoisseur!- who lives 200 miles away always wants to visit when visiting us. Always looking forward to the next visit!

Would be a good idea to invest in some fans or to be able to open the window. It was so hot in the restaurant we couldn’t enjoy the evening as we would normally. Otherwise food was delicious as usual.
