Ounce At Worcester

Food was great, service was a little slow, however it was Friday night, well done 👍👍

I wasn't able to make it, my son went with his mum and sister. Food was exceptional and delivered exactly as ordered with very quick service.

Everything was great in terms of the service, food and the place, it's just the tables are so close together, so the noise levels of other people shouting and laughing loud are awful, you can't hear yourself or your friends on our own table (It must echo in there)

Really looking forward to our first visit, it didn't go so well, luke warm plates, Yorkshire puds so overdone, black around the edges, maybe fine for some but not for me, food very over seasoned, shame as we have only ever heard brilliant reports,

Welcome and staff, were both fantastic. Main course was tasty, well cooked, but it wasn’t hot enough. Beef was exceptional, tender and perfectly cooked, at medium rare. Plates weren’t heated enough, just luke warm to the touch. Puddings were very good. Service was superb. I would say it was OK, not an overwhelming experience.

The jus was so salty and the salad was so small and just leaves the actual pub was really nicel decor waitress was lovely but will not be come back

Food was delicious, but it wasn’t very hot .. the steaks ( chateaubriand) on the shared plate was brought out then the sides, & then we waited a good 5 mins before the plates were brought out, so the steaks & mushroom were pretty cold by the time we got to eat them, we still enjoyed as it was a great steak, but maybe bringing the plates out before the food might stop this happening

It was my son’s birthday so I treated him to the fabulous £1 per ounce. I informed the staff of the occasion beforehand and a nice table was allocated. I took a 16oz and the wife and boy had 8oz. Quit a good sized cut on all. Cooked to perfection, sides of cauliflower cheese and red cabbage accompanied the meat with sheer class. Service was on point (as always) and again I will return.

Didn’t realise that they didn’t open until 12oclock.Had to wait outside for 10 minutes in the cold . Also our table was by the front door and it was freezing every time someone came in or out . Would not recommend you sit there in the Winter.

Staff and steak first class as usual. 😊However, as a lover of salt I did find the fries and jus was even too salty for me on this occasion. Also I have noticed on my last few visits that the tables I was seated at looked clean enough but were quite sticky to the touch.

First Sunday lunch at Ounce Barbourne - won’t be the last! - fantastic meal with the inimitable perfectly cooked beef!

My first visit to Ounce, with some friends who had been before. Easily the best steak I’ve ever had. Great service and friendly staff too. Highly recommend. Great place.

We dine here regularly and love Ounce. Sitting upstairs was quieter but there atmosphere. My chips were so salty I couldn’t eat them but no one came to check how our meal was. We still enjoyed the food and will come again.
