Food amazing and the staff are so lovely and friendly

Amazing as always. Took advantage of the surf and turf special for 2. We both really enjoyed it.

Superb steaks all round, cooked perfectly and the sauces were delicious, garlic mushrooms were so tasty. Service was great, 10/10 all round.

£1 per ounce great value, the steak was great. My only feedback would be that the servers better explain the butcher’s cut as I did not know what it was and recommend the best way that cut should be served.

Meal out with friends. Love the food and atmosphere, great night.

Booked a couple of months before. Arrived and our table was not ready. Waited for 30 minutes it was very busy. Nowhere to stand without being in the way of staff bringing out food. Staff were very apologetic and explained previous people were late, so this obviously delayed our table being ready. We eventually sat down and were given complimentary bread and olives. It took over an hour for our food to arrive and my steak was rare not medium so it went back. By the time it arrived 20 minutes later the rest of my family had finished theirs. The food was good but it took too long. Staff did apologise and did not charge for my steak. I feel too many bookings taken making it very difficult for staff to cope

We had a recommendation from a friend, and decided to give it a try. It really is great.

It was noisy in the restaurant but our table was definitely contributing to that! Food was unbelievably tasty. Cooked to perfection. Perfect. Puddings we’re also delicious with a fab choice.

The food was ok. I couldn't understand putting the larger roast dinner on a small flat board, I ended up covered in gravy, with half my food on the floor. Upstairs seems to be left to linger compared to my experiences downstairs. Having not been here for 6 months, it seems to have slipped in standards quite a bit since then
