Lovely welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, good quality and really tasty. We both had the 8oz butchers cut with fries, cauli cheese and peppercorn sauce which was ample. It was a real midweek treat.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at ounce. The service was great and the food was fantastic!

The food and service was excellent, we were sat near the door and asked to move because of the draft and we were moved immediately and without fuss. Food, wine and cocktails were without fault

Lovely restaurant and very good service. The music was rather loud when we got to the restaurant. I asked staff if it could be turned down a little. It was done straightaway. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was excellent.

A wonderful independently run pub, the steaks are great, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are £1 per ounce and they serve my favorite beer, which is Blue Moon on draught.

ad a nice romantic meal with my wife, an exceptional local tavern, renowned for its exquisite steaks. They also happen to serve my beloved Blue Moon beer on tap. Staff cant do enough to help.

his charming, privately-owned pub is known for its delectable steaks, a family affair, the staff accommodating one extra with no issues. Had to complain about the beer, changed immediately no charge. Great staff and great manager Kate.
