Ounce At Worcester

Thursday night is chateaubriand night! It’s got a little bit more expensive but still worth the money. We just love the food and atmosphere

Running late and tried to call ahead 4/5 times but got no answer. Arrived and explained but didn’t seem to be too bothered. First time we have been to Ounce so bit uncertain when we arrived on where to go etc. very small restaurant, seemed too small or too many tables. Asked to wait for our table but to maybe get a drink. Never asked for a drink until the table was ready?? Table location was good. Limited menu, food was ok, seem to be a little mix up with what we got to what we ordered. Not asked if the food was ok at any point. No dessert menu?? Asked for the bill and glad we checked it as there was a random drink in there that we hadn’t ordered. No issues though and this was removed. Customer service was just really poor apart from the waitress who served us. First time and last time, not sure what all the fuss was about.

Another great experience at my favourite eatery. This time I took on the 20oz butchers cut. A beast of a piece of meat! Cooked to perfection (rare). A lovely rich butchers just to accompany it alongside the tin of fries. A lovely glass of red Chilean wine always goes well. Staff are friendly and helpful as always. In to the next visit!!

overall good but servIng staff needs to know the difference between white and red st emilion.

2nd time visiting, and both times the food has been amazing. Took the whole family this time for my birthday. We didn't make a big thing about it, but they overheard my wife saying I should spoil myself as it's my birthday. When we asked for the bill, they brought me a little surprise. Really touched. It's busy on Tue/Wed due to the offer, but they smashed the service, and the food came quickly. Can't rate the place highly enough!

We are regulars ,and always very pleased ,very very busy so bit noisy and bit slower but perfectly acceptable ,food and value excellent and service was very good considering how busy it was .planning to visit with friends on our joint 80th birthday ,our very favourite restaurant

Welcomed straight away as we arrived. Taken to table and offered drinks while we choose from the menu. Food was amazing and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Our table was booked for 12:15pm and we didn’t get our food until 1:15pm. We were the first ones there and seemed to take the longest to get our orders taken

The food was good , but not the best steak I’ve had there , but the background music was awful, someone was really into Jonny Cash !!! It was that bad as soon as we could we got the bill and left , it won’t put me off , I just hope someone else is in charge of music choice next time 😂😂😂

Took my teenagers for the first time. They absolutely loved it! I had the 8oz same as my daughter and hubby had the 12oz and son the 10 oz. The taste was amazing as always. Tried the peppercorn sauce. It was very tasty! Everybody wants to revisit again soon and make a back to school tradition.

First time visiting. Massively impressed. All staff were amazing. The food was incredible. Had the Tuesday £1 per ounce option. My 24oz arrived perfectly cooked and I loved it. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. Many thanks to all the team tonight. I will definitely be a regular customer. Highly recommend for any steak lover!

Food was delicious and service was great. The only negative I have is the tables are far too close together and I felt like the couple next to us where literally sat on our table.

Quite a long wait for food (40 mins) due to an error not sending it through to the kitchen. Apologised several times. Food was excellent and great value. Mistakes happen and completely owned up to it. 👍

Food aways great, always have the steak and several sides, although waiting times for drinks were awful had to remind our server several times that we still hadn't had our drinks.

Would definitely visit again and recommend to a friend. Food was excellent and priced well in relation to the portion served. Only thing was we were seated on a quite a small table next to a large group that was slightly noisy, but this was not a problem. Thank you for the good food.

Very very slow on getting served our drinks, one beer never did turn up. Food was pretty average and the oysters did not say that they had a dressing on

We had the Chateaubriand to share. It was the best steak ive ever eaten. The croquettes are mind blowingly good too. Lovely staff, lovely food at a decent price too. My only itch would be the restaurant seems very tightly packed but the food makes up for it. We are definitely coming again soon!!

The food is fantastic! A smaller portion of side sauces such as peppercorn would be preferred. Lunch menu is great value for money!

Food was great as normal, resturant pretty busy and service was slower than normal but still a mega place to eat
