Overall a fantastic night, excellent food, best steak we've had in a long time! Only criticism is it took a long time to get it (an hour) whilst the wait was frustrating once we had the food it was worth it and we would return.

Booked the table a little while ago received a courtesy call a couple of days before to check. This place is fabulous the decor is immense. Food is off the scale. Service is excellent. Short and sweet review but as Arnie says I’ll be back 👍

After a little wait we got seated and ordered but as soon as the food came out we suddenly didn’t mind as the steak was incredible! 10/10 friendly staff and great atmosphere! Defiantly coming back.

Food was amazing we had the Camembert and the asparagus to start and then 4 of us shared the tomahawk steak! Everything was amazing the food was cooked really well and, the atmosphere was great. Only thing was there was probably a few more tables crammed in the back part then there should be so you were very close to others eating, but that’s only a slight snag! Would definitely come again and highly recommend.

The restaurant was fairly busy, but there appeared to be plenty of staff working (although one in particular was rude and abrupt). 5 of us were cramped around a 4 seater table and there was a particularly noisy table right behind us - not a great start. The waiting time for food wasn't bad, but 1 of our party was left without cutlery, despite asking, and we ended up having to take it from another table. We also didn't get the mayonnaise we asked for. Food was acceptable, the 'medium' steaks were particularly bloody, but no one came to ask if our food was ok, so we didn't mention it. The '£1 per ounce ' offer also needs clarifying as this only actually applies to rump steak. Not an awful meal, but we wouldn't return, I feel Miller & Carter offers better value for money.

Enjoyed our meal, however, we weren’t told when we booked the table that we had to vacate by 8pm. Had to gulp our coffee and leave.

The steak cut sizes were fixed at larger portions than we would have liked this time but was solid in quality. Service was friendly but not very attentive. A bit disappointed compared to our previous experiences here.

We thought the eating area downstairs was too loud, yet the upstairs was too bright and not initmate enough. Menu was limited we were expecting other meat on the menu. Irish coffee was a plus.

Food was amazing looking forward to coming back Great that you do the Pershore patty card 😊 Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the food. The puddings are the best in Worcester! Id even come in just for a crumble/sticky toffee pudding or brownie or all 3 at once 😊

First visit since this place was the Marwood and it did not disappoint. We went for the £1 per ounce offer which was really good. The room we were in upstAirs was quite chilly

As a party of 6 we were seated upstairs in a really relaxed room. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before our meal the whole experience was really chilled. The food was excellent plus on a Tuesday and Wednesday the butchers cut menu is a £1 an ounce which we found to be fantastic value. We shall definitely return 10/10

This remains one of the hidden gems of Worcester. Always welcoming with rapid service and excellent food, beautiful steaks, well cooked AT ONLY £1 AN OUNCE ON TUE/WED!!!! Stop whatever it is you're doing and get down there.

The food and service was absolutely wonderful and all the staff were very friendly. We were waiting a while for our table as the customers who were before us on our table were quite slow, we were then offered a round of drinks in the house as we were waiting which was very kind and much appreciated! I will definitely continue to go to ounce and would recommend to anyone!

My son and I love steak we are both well accomplished cooks but the meat here is simply stunning amazing value for money and a great atmosphere 10/10 See you very soon 👍

Good restaurant - I will definitely return for another dinner.

Went there to have a steak, as it was my birthday. But opted instead for the Sunday Lunch. It was lovely. The food was obviously sourced locally well presented, hot and delicious. I wont go into details but I don't think anyone would be disappointed. I suggest you also have a side of the three cheese cauli between two people. I will defo be back for the steak as I think it would be something very special.
