Lovely food, knowledgable staff, a busy atmosphere, cosy and comfortable

Wonderful atmosphere, great tasty small plates, perfect for sharing. We sat at the bar which was quite comfortable (often not the case!). The drinks were lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

My favourite dish was the octopus, it’s great sitting at the pass and watching the chefs work. Perfect size menu, looking forward to going again.

Good food and efficient service. Some dishes are really good like the calamari and the ribs. The restaurant is a little noisy which appears to be down to the acoustics.

We sat at the bar which is far more interesting and interactive experience than at the tables. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble and we were never rushed. The food is varied and tasty - perfect for the sharing plates. I've been here several times and would go back gladly. Recommended.

Great food great service. Been here 3 times now . Boquerones on sat night were not on lovely tomato based crispbread as the other day . But still nice . Amazing wine menu . Fun place to go . Great place for 2 if you sit at bar area . Very fast service . Value for money as great portions also !

Service good. Food not at the standard of its sister restaurant Señor Buddha. Don't expect broken toilets and cold restaurant when spending £70 per head. Could do a lot better with a bit more effort.

Perfect Saturday night venue for a group of 5 of us getting together! Fantastic food, some really unusual takes on the classic tapas dishes, whilst some of the old favourites were there too. And all beautifully presented. The staff were really friendly and very helpful recommending wine. Great night out with a lovely ambiance!

Food quality good but overpriced for lunch, rations small. Restaurant was cold, heating inadequate for a cold day. Service good but only one other group of four diners present.

Relaxed but good quality tapas prepared with panache right in front of you if you are sitting at the bar. Well worth a visit. Hasta la vista!

I am glad I booked as it was quite busy when we arrived. We had a choice of tables and chose the one nearest the radiator. I like being warm! The service was great and the food was delicious.

The food was ok... not great. But when we got there 2 tapas were over and the vodka for the Bloody Maria was also finished so only one of four people were able to order the drink.

Beautiful food and lovely people; the loos were lovely too! Nice relaxed atmosphere and an unexpectedly tasty Spanish non-alcoholic beer. The seafood and blackened cod were particularly super.

Fantastic restaurant- can’t wait to go back! Food is presented creatively and decor is cool. Staff were fantastic but owner needs to amend card payment so we can leave a tip please.

Had a very pleasant evening here. Good atmosphere and tasty food, well presented. We especially enjoyed the vegetarian options such as the spinach croquettes - yum. It was a shame we had to wait such a long time for the scallops to arrive - much later than the other dishes. However we will return next time for lunch.

Great Restaurant in centre of town, serving delicious modern Tapas! We shared 6 dishes and all were absolutely amazing ...they looked fabulous and all great in flavour! Only one minor criticism the lighting was a little too bright for us, it could have been dimmer for a little more intimate ambience But I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this great place!

Great atmosphere, cosy, friendly. Fantastic, well priced tasty food and very generous portion for tapas. It was busy on New Years Eve but the staff were very efficient and did everything to make sure we had a great time. All finished off with one of the best espressos we’ve had in Brighton.

Just ‘Yum’ - everything about this place is pure class. Service is spot-on-attentive and knowledgeable but not over the top. Great to see the food being prepared and portions so much bigger than many taps restaurants - which makes sharing is a pleasure rather than a chore! Great Vegetarian choices too.

Lovely atmosphere and terrific staff but Christmas Eve food totally missed the target. An over abundance of chilli and 11 tiny mussels for £7 is very tight.
