We visited this Italian restaurant yesterday and had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding, full of incredible flavour, and clearly made with care. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is small, cosy, and truly feels like a family-run restaurant. It was especially touching that it was my daughter’s birthday — they made a real effort by putting a candle on our dessert and playing Happy Birthday, which meant so much to us. A wonderful place, and we’ll definitely be back!

Paolo’s never fails. The food choice is extensive, beautifully presented and hot when it’s meant to be! Two of our table had steaks, cooked to perfection, fish fresh and delicious, large pizzas and a perfect lasagne. The restaurant was busy but not noisy and we were not rushed in anyway. Why go further than local?

What a lovely local Italian restaurant, great food and service - highly recommend!

Smart and tidy new restaurant. The mussel starter was great as was the burrata salad. My tuna steak was slightly over cooked but the tomato and onion accompaniments were fine. My wife thought that the sea bass topping was inappropriate and the boiled broccoli and mashed potatoes disappointing. At over £90, including a glass of Sauvignon and a bottle of beer, we thought it expensive.

My overall visit to Paolo’s Italian Kitchen was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The food was delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. Every dish tasted authentic and well balanced. Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I highly recommend Paolo’s Italian Kitchen!

I've heard a lot of good things about Paolo's Italian restaurant on the Internet and was looking forward to experiencing it for myself. Wow.. wow, it truly lived up to the hype. The quality of the food was superb , very well presented, with nice attention to flavour combinations. The service was outstanding. We was made to feel at home and all the front of house staff were super attentive. We'll definitely be going back to Paolo's and without doubt recommending them to our friends.

Utterly delicious food, probably the best steak I’ve had in London! House salad not your normal sad one, rather filled with marinated peppers, artichokes, olives and even baby pickled onions. Matched with fantastic service - brilliant night thank you!

At Paolo’s kitchen it’s like being in Italy. We were a party of 9, ordered a variety of dishes( tuna steak, sirloin steak, pasta, gnocchi) and all of them were absolutely delicious. Tiramisu was out of this world. We will definitely return.

Food was amazing as always fresh and vibrant. Service was great. It was a little noisy because there was a table with babies and children but that wouldn’t put us off returning.

I ordered the liver pink and it came med/well done , Not good.

Paolo’s in Borehamwood is an excellent Italian Restaurant! We have been on many occasions and have never failed to be impressed. Paolo’s cooking is truly first class! We are looking forward to our next visit!
