Another great meal at Paolo’s with my brother and mum. Great restaurant with lovely food and attentive service.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Paolo’s Italian
Amazing fresh quality food. Cleanliness top and service fantastic. Love going there
As usual, I always like my visit to Paolo's restaurant and yesterday was no exception. .

Excellent food excellent service lovely atmosphere really enjoyed the evening
The food was lovely. A nice restaurant. Very enjoyable 😃
Great Food, always consistent never disappoints best Italian in the area.
Lovely restaurant, with friendly staff and amazing food. The only downside I would say is that it was way too loud. Otherwise a fantastic experience
Staff very good always available when required but not obtrusive.
Lovely staff, attentive and speedy service, and very good food. Couldn’t ask for more
Another lovely visit. The kids were given Easter eggs which was so thoughtful. The food was delicious as always.
Best carbonara I’ve ever eaten. You must visit. Highly recommended
All four of us had mouth watering starters - calamari, bruschetta & pizzeta con aglio; scrummy mains - risotto, ragu & amatriciana; and delicious desserts. Everything amazing. Will definitely return
Good food - was my first visit & I’ll be back
Food is always delicious. But low staff especially when busy.
Excellent food as always, all very fresh ingredients, and great service.
Really amazing food and wonderful service. Have dined her a few times and always have a great time. It is more expensive than the normal Italian restaurants but well worth it.
Good food, Atmosphere and service. Value for money too. Thanks
Too noisy and service was a bit too slow but overall we enjoyed our visit.
The most wonderful Italian restaurant! Stunning and delicious as always :)
The best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time, the food is amazing, clean , fresh the staff are great, I would highly recommend the restaurant to everyone I know and can’t wait to be back there!
Beautiful food. Great service. Definitely return ☺️ recommend in abundance
Paolo's Italian Kitchen is a lovely local restaurant with large portions of excellent food at fair prices. It looks like the bread basket is popular and the chips (french fry style) were some of the best we've had in a long time. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere which can get a bit loud due to the hard surfaces, but it is convenient for a meal before a filming at Elstree Studio.
Attentive staff, crisp clean decor, good varied menu. Welcoming ambiance.
My friend and I visited this lovely restaurant and we had an amazing time. Food was fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend
The menu isn't huge, but the food was very nice and served hot. The service was good and the waiters helpful.
Food was authentic and delicious! The decor was modern and inviting!
Excellent as always, great waiting staff, food, drinks and atmosphere. dessert with candle on for Hubby's birthday, and singing & playing Happy Birthday as it was brought to the tables. The Italian cocktail is a must.
Quality food. We had 3 courses each and a bottle of wine. We were so stuffed that we had to skip breakfast the following morning. The service was outstanding. By far the best restaurant in our area by a country mile. All for the very reasonable price of £97 .Worth every penny. Next time we go out for dinner we will be coming back to Paulo's.
Good local restaurant. We each had main course of chicken schnitzel and spaghetti pomodoro which was delicious, well presented and piping hot . Also had lovely homemade tiramisu to follow . Only negative was their wine which I returned and had a beer instead! Service good .
Exceptional food, great service, amazing atmosphere. Truly one of the best, if not the best, Italian restaurants I've ever been to.
Fantastic, delicious food, but it was very noisy so difficult to hear others speaking. Waiting staff looked rushed and made mistakes - like not ordering a starter for one person, but it was soon rectified.
Wonderful evening - fab food & great service , as always
Always a pleasure to dine with you. Staff are delightful and nothing is a problem. Food absolutely incredible as always. 🥰
Lovely fresh pasta and great pizza. Both myself and my 4 year old loved the orechiette which had an amazing tomato sauce. She can be a bit fussy, but almost cleared her plate and I was more than happy to finish the little she couldn't. Always room for dessert though and we shared the chocolate brownie and some cannoli to finish a lovely meal here. Coming back here next time we're in Borehamwood.
Lovely food as usual. Great service and very friendly staff.
An excellent St Valentine lunch. Paolo’s Kitchen always serves up delightful food and the service is impeccable,
Just LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, highly recommend to everyone!
A lovely evening celebrating two family birthdays. We had the lovely large square table for 7 of us which was perfect. The waiters were lovely. Food was delicious and we all had a great evening.
Fantastic food! Staff were amazing! Definately will return, best italian around.
Was disappointed as had v good reviews of the restaurant. Husbands liver portion was v small. My risotto was just ok . Best ting was the derests which were v good.
Food was lovely, but unfortunately the service wasn’t great. None of the waiters checked on our table for ordering. We had to call them over every time we wanted to order or ask for something. A real shame as the food is good, the service needs to be the same! Pay attention to your tables.
Delicious food. Portion far far too small for the ravioli.
Always great food and service 👌. Amazing Prawns & panocotta
So good to be back The food quality is exceptional as ever
We had a lunch for 8 people with varying appetites and requirements, and ordered quite a range of dishes. The food was all well-prepared and - despite the variety - served out in a well-coordinated fashion. Some things are clearly a bit anglicised: the order of dishes on the menu is odd, with secondo before primo, and the ratio of ragú to pasta was quite high. Several of us ordered the tiramisú and reported that it was very good.
Unfortunately Paolo wasn’t well and so there wasn’t a Sunday roast choice but we all had great meals from the regular menu. Looking forward to the roast menu on another Sunday. As always we were looked after really well and the food is excellent
Amazing place, food was lovely and service was great. Def recommend
