A very enjoyable meal, great selection, excellent food, great service…will definitely come back again

We’ve been regular visitors to this restaurant in the past and have always enjoyed our meals here, but hadn’t been back in the last year as we like to try new places. The restaurant itself is cozy, with lovely decor and a great ambience, which we’ve always appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience on this visit wasn’t up to the usual standard. I ordered the arancini as a starter to share with my husband and made sure to inform the waiter that I’m allergic to rocket leaves. To my surprise, my arancini arrived on a bed of rocket! Nobody checked in on us during the meal, and the arancini itself was a little dry and overcooked this time around. As we were waiting for our plates to be cleared, another waiter arrived with our main course. He had to juggle bringing the main while clearing the starter, which meant the main course was placed on the table without any cutlery. After a brief delay, we were brought utensils. That said, our main courses were hot, freshly cooked, and absolutely delicious. While this visit wasn’t the best experience we’ve had, we’ve never had issues here in the past, so we’re hoping this was just a one-off. The restaurant was very busy, so it seems we were just unlucky. Despite the hiccups, we’ll definitely return again, as we’ve always enjoyed it here in the past and believe it’s still worth another try."

Very tasty food and a lively but relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. We really appreciated the air con coolness on what was a very hot day and the booth we were in was excellent for easy conversation.

A pleasant, well-cooked meal and a lovely Tiramasu for dessert. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and a reasonable price.

Welcoming, friendly and efficient staff, all ready for our party of 8. Drinks were excellent, we had a wide selection. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were presented well, generous quantities and delicious. Excellent flavours, authentic Italian ingredients, wine list was well paired with the menu options and cocktails were also excellent. Bill was approximately £50 a head including drinks and service for 3 courses. The restaurant is well laid out out, decor is chic but comfortable. We had almost 3 hours in the restaurant. No problems at all. Facilities were very clean, lighting good, enough music (jazz /swing) in the background but not obtrusive. Really convenient location too, close to station and car parking. Would be great to return. Thank you very much!

This is our third visit and the food and service were exceptional! Except this time, there was a noisy diner who had no regard for the other diners and was outrageously loud. Not the restaurant's fault, but sadly, we didn't stay for dessert.
