A new menu offering so much choice I wanted to try then all, luckily my other half let me sample the beef croquettes which were unbelievable! I had the lamb rump main and once again fabulously fabulous. The service is always above and beyond and the setting beautiful. A delightful experience 🙌

We were treated to the full on upstairs private dining experience for my daughter’s graduation party meal. As always the food was superb, the staff attentive and the setting just perfect. This is my favourite restaurant in Nottingham and I will be back again shortly! Thank you 5*

Amazing as always, first class service and excellent food. The only minor point is the Restaurant has taken to the practice of adding a 14% Service Charge (Optional) to the final bill to cover the extra costs of COVID and rising prices. I would prefer this to simply be included in the price; it is either required or it is not and therefore has no place as an optional charge.

On arrival we went into the cocktail bar area which was a cool, quirky area with photo opps the cocktails were delicious! We went to our table which was out the way and in the corner .. I would much have preferred to be in the well lit lovely decorated area, It felt like we weren’t inside the actual restaurant with where we was sat, we had long waits between our courses unfortunately (30 mins from when we was seated to our starter and 45 for our main) the food was absolutely incredible when it did come though I will be honest all the waiting would put me off coming here again

Thought the food was not of a quality you would expect in comparison to the way the dishes were described on the menu. Without the Groupon voucher would not go there again. Both of the starters, goats cheese and tureen were lacking in any vinaigrette or similar dressing, very bland and obviously premade and been in a fridge a long time. The lamb dish was just about warm and consisted of stringy meat moulded together. Just steak without any chips or salad at the price is not any value at all. Surroundings and service were good. In the main disappointed with the overall experience.

Really lovely early evening, , nice ambience, attentive staff and tasty beautifully presented food. I would recommend and we will definitely return.

compared to numerous previous visits the menu has changed for the worse. We don't have Entree's but we found our main choice was limited to 1 that we liked, which we both had, Lamb. I ate most of mine but my partner ate very little. We found the meat tasteless and rest of meal confusing. The sweet menu was so bad that we did not order one. Apparently this is now about to change. we have visited this establishment more than five times recently and were very disappointed this time. Previously we had voted this one of the best restaurants that we had visited. I hope it reverts back to normal.

The food was nicely presented but everything lacked flavour. Disappointed that they were asking for 10% on top of the bill which was to go to the restaurant, not the staff, also suggesting that we may want to tip the staff too on top of the additional 10%.

A fabulous evening once again in beautiful surroundings, the most wonderful tasting dishes and faultless service . Just the most wonderful place to spend quality time with friends and family.

The interior wasn’t as nice in reality as the images on social media. The steak arrived a lot less cooked than requested - more rare than medium. I fed this back to no response. The gourmand arrived with no side plates for sharing. The restaurant was cold and two out of three of us had to put our coats back on. We appreciated happy birthday being written on a plate and a candle put in the dessert. Underwhelmed and very expensive for what was served.

A fabulously fabulous lunchtime visit with my oldest friend (in terms of years not age) and we just love coming here, it’s our go to place. Friendly service and superb food as always. Just keep doing what you do guys, it’s just amazing
