An hommage to The Duck Club of Partick, a social club that was established in 1810 by a group of Glasgow merchants, bankers and professors and named after their favourite dish – roasted duck – you’ll find Partick Duck Club located on Hyndland Road. Ducky delights still feature on the menu at this trendy joint– think baked duck eggs served on sourdough with wild mushrooms and bomber cheese, and duck fat fried topped with tobacco onions and aioli, as well as an array of other creative dishes like pork belly with black garlic puree, grapefruit and crisp prosciutto. Whether it's for brunch, lunch or dinner and drinks, Patrick Duck Club draws in foodies from all over Glasgow to its West End location – book ahead to guarantee a table.
Fabulous food and service with a smile ! What more could you want. Well maybe the duck fat chips with tobacco onions... and the crispy duck eggs...
Excellent food and exceptional service, this place is well worth a visit. Duck fries were outstanding and something I will definitely return for. Great atmosphere and decor.
An excellent meal in a lovely bright and cheerful restaurant. Great varied menu and carefully cooked food with delicious wines. Service helpful frienly yet unobtrusive
truly innovative food, wonderful breakfast, perfect service we love it here! the boys who own/run the pdc deserve to succeed with the great neighbourhood rest well done guys you are doing a great job! keep it up
This is the first time we've been to the Partick Duck Club. It was a late lunch and we were looking for something light-ish, so we both chose the Duck Leg & Nduja Hash from the all-day Brunch Menu, and shared a bowl of the Duck Fat Fries with honey mustard mayo, crispy bacon & spring onion. Our food was delicious - packed with flavour, cooked fresh, well-presented, at the right temperature and perfectly seasoned - It hit the spot and then some! The restaurant was busy, but all seemed to be running like clockwork. Our server James was very personable and had just the right level of attentiveness. On the basis of our experence on the day I would rate the service and food as excellent In fact, so positive was our experience, that we intend to return again soon, and if this level of service and quality of food is maintained, I can see us being 'regulars'.
This was our 3rd visit to The Partick Duck Club and the food, as usual was excellent but what really impressed me this time was the excellent service. It was a cold, damp Monday night and we were the only table in the restaurant but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming we had a fabulous, relaxed evening and our guest, visiting from Paris was super impressed both by his delicious dinner and the lovely people. Thank you Partick Duck Club.
We had read the Sunday Times review on the Partick Duck Club and were not disappointed when we visited the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service was efficient and helpful. The meal was lovely and we enjoyed the whole experience very much. We have told many friends about it.
Great little find . The food was wonderful . Delicious plates of simple well cooked dishes. Everything was perfect for a family birthday dinner . The background music was subtle and the stafff were attentive without being overly fussy. I would thoroughly recommend the fish and divine suck fat chips!!!!! And the flourless chocolate cake..... don’t have words to describe it other than yummmmmy. Definitely on my list of places to return to . Thankyou very much for great evening ..
First visit to Duck Club for Saturday brunch. Great atmosphere, cosy and relaxed with great decor. Food is excellent and staff were very friendly and efficient. The coffee was amazing (very rare that I would have two cups with brunch & I would have had a third). I can’t wait to go back to try the lunch/ dinner menu and a little Harris Gin. I am sure we will become regulars here.
Very tasty starters and good service. However, we were disappointed with the main course of the asian duck burger. The bottom bun was soggy (cardinal burger sin) and the asian flavour overwhelmed the duck. This was a shame as the concept for the dish was good. However, for the price it could be improved. The duck and chips main course was good but, again, for the money I thought it wasn't particularly accomplished. I should say we had seen many pictures and positive reviews of this restaurant online, and it didn't quite meet our expectations.
