Pascere Brighton is a critically-acclaimed restaurant that we and the rest of the city really can’t get enough of. The menu and atmosphere here create a rather unique blend of homely comfort as well as luxury and the result is one of the most elegant restaurants around The Lanes. Dishes are seasonal and as beautiful to look at as they are taste, whether you’re dining for lunch or for dinner. At the time of the writing the Pascere Brighton a la carte featured mains like confit violet artichoke or braised pork cheeks with jowl bacon, fresh tagliatelle and aged parmesan. On Duke Street, this is some of the best modern European cooking in Brighton and you’re going to love it. Reserve your table now.
I was initially alarmed by the ‘nouvelle cuisine’, but I quickly gained confidence as the exquisite palate unfolded in the herbed butter entrée. The perfect balance of both colours and flavours in the main courses ensured a truly elegant dining experience. On top of this, our fellow diners were pleasantly modulated, and the service unfussy. We liked seeing the chefs seemingly happy, quietly at work. A gem of a restaurant.
