Al dente seafood pasta and a delicious pistachio desert. Great service too.
Un vero ristorante italiano gestito da ragazzi in gamba e gentilissimi.
Great food, great drinks, great service. Can’t ask for much more. Big ups to the pornstar martini
Loved our Panzerotti Night❤️ Highly recommended. Amazing and authentic Italian cuisine. Piccolino never disappoints.
I took my mother here when she was in town from LA, and we had amazing service and great food!
One of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. Amazing food and friendly waiting staff.
Suberb food and wonderful atmosphere. Was looking for good Italian but found great!
We were here for a management lunch and as always excellent service and fabulous food. We pre-ordered as anticipated it would be busy with festival people and it was but we managed in exactly an hour so all good.
Great food and really friendly service in a lively neighbourhood restaurant - will visit again.
The restaurant had a very cosy atmosphere, had reserved a table to avoid queuing time. The menu had a varied choice of dishes and our choice was very delicious, not much waiting after placing order. The staff are very attentive and cheerful creating a very enjoyable atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely food, particularly enjoyed the seafood and prawn linguines. Very efficient and attentive service, will definitely come back to Piccolinos soon.
Good food, helpful staff, good location and genial atmosphere. thank you.
Very good pasta and steak. Tables a bit small, but food and service are excellent
Wonderful traditional Italian food with great service. Thank you so much!
Waiters "welcomed" guests (not just us) by impressing on them what time they needed the table back. Service very rushed, got the impression they just wanted to get as many people through during the Festival time as possible - not very relaxed. The "main" waiter or manager was very in your face and a bit over familiar. Wouldn't go back there.
Made to wait 35 minutes for our reservation, outside in cold weather. Food was unfortunately very average so that didn't make up for the wait. Staff friendly.
We were a family of 13 ,5 children and 8 adults. The restaurant is informal and the menu was perfect for the range in ages. The house red was good. We had a lovely time.Thank you.
Visiting Edinburgh for the Tattoo so looked for a restaurant online close to the venue. Total pot luck but a great find!! Delicious food, waiters had great sense of humour
Food was pretty miserly. E.g. small main salmon steak was quite reasonable but the only other thing on the plate was a tiny sprinkling of totally dried up shredded lettuce. The other main was a overcooked piece of chicken but at least it came with fries and a fresh salad. In fairness the staff acknowledged that the food was not up to an acceptable standard and gave us a discount.
Food and service excellent. A new upcoming restaurant in Edinburgh
Really nice simple Italian food with great service.. Found the music a little loud but it’s only a small, personal gripe.
Good food easy to find within walking distance of Princes Street
Heerlijk gegrilde groenten en pasta gegeten. Met een lekker wijntje erbij top avond gehad!
Great Service and delicious Food! Had a great time tonight!
When we visited Edinburgh we had dinner at Piccolino twice as it was so good on our first meal.
Very friendly wait staff. Food was good (had the polpette, caprese and risotto with sausage). Relatively inexpensive too. Only area that could have been better was the cannoli. Its filling was too dry.
We loved our food, it was delicious! The waiting staff were super busy, but always friendly and ready to accommodate our requests. We will definitely back for dinner and other upcoming summer events!
Good food and helpful enthusiastic staff . Cheery atmosphere and good location
Lovely wee restaurant, felt like we were in Italy. Service was very good and the food was to die for. Definitely be back.
Fabulous food. Brilliant deal at lunchtime with 2 courses for £8.95 - would highly recommend as quality lovely presented food and very attentive staff who always make you welcome.
Perfecto! Beautiful carbonara, delicious eggplant starter. Great service. Will return.
Really enjoyed our meal. Recommended.Would visit again on next trip
Food was lovely, the choice was excellent. A grown up Italian with a cafe feel but a restaurant menu. The waitress was lovely. Very polite, very coy, very attentive. Not a Scottish voice in site, all Italian. Perfect.
An enjoyable relaxed Sunday lunch. It deserved to be busier!
We loved our Panzerotti Night! Food was amazing and the service brilliant. We will be back again. Highly recommended :)
Very attentive staff and the food was simply amazing! The best Italian in Edinburgh! Can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back !
