A fantastic restaurant tucked just off Brick Lane , nice decor , great staff , fabulous unusual sharing food and just the best cocktails , will definitely go there again

Amazing cocktails and food! Have been once already and this time we brought friends. Fabulous once again. The super friendly guy waiting on us remembered us from last time, and the bartender went above and beyond making cocktails to request even in happy hour.

Amazing time had at Pickled Freds the only vegan out of 5 and I didn’t feel left out at all, the food and service were amazing, every mouthful was a taste sensation, the cocktails were great too and the staff so friendly and attentive, we will be back…all the way from Cornwall 👍🏼👍🏼

Amazing food, great service, fantastic cocktails. What more could you ask for?! Be sure to try the pickle selection and the avocado tempura and wash it all down with a bamboo shoot!

Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere and space. Good range of vegan options too! Really recommend the wild mushroom flatbread, and the tempura avocado. Non-alcoholic cocktails were super tasty. Thanks Pickled Fred!

Overall good experience with very nice staff attending us and the plus of happy hour on delicious cocktails. Starters to share were really good, but unfortunately i was not amazed by brunch flatbreads. Too filling and heavy maybe? Apart from that everything was good.

The Staff were friendly. and the food and drink was really tasty - I liked that they served mock tails All in all good value for money

We came here for brunch. And the food was Excellent. Lots of choice and happy to help with allergies and preferences. The service was impeccable. Would highly recommend going.

Great service, food was lovely and amazing cocktails! If you are visiting for brunch I strongly advise to save space for the Apple and sesame pancakes (the plantain as an additional extra is a must)

Amazingly tasty food, excellent service, delicious cocktails and really long happy ’hour’. We had a really great time. A minor mix up with the bill was sorted swiftly and with a great attitude.

Excellent food, friendly staff, interesting menu. Food very freshly prepared and good vegetarian and vegan options. A very enjoyable meal. Only minor quibble was the music was slightly loud.

Really good. Different street foody type dishes. Casual vibe. Excellent service. Reasonably priced. Different cocktails and decent/short wine list. Will go back to try the dishes we couldn’t fit in, eg octopus.

Great food, staff and was a lovely meal! The grilled octopus and the lotus chips to start were stand outs. Food was quite spicy but thats how I like it.

Very friendly service, great cocktails (try the bamboo shoot) and very nice food (especially the octopus). Lots of small plates so you can keep drinking and ordering food as you go along, a great social way to eat and drink.

Friendly helpful staff! The brunch menu had a wide choice of unusual dishes. Next time I would suggest if going with a group to order the snack dishes and share as the mains were quite large.

Everything was amazing! If it was closer I would eat there every week! Jackfruit scotch eggs are a must, and great happy hour specials during the week!

I am usually quite sceptical when it comes to fusion so I was very positively surprised about the encountered flavors which reminded me my parents' cuisine. I would recommend the som tam salad, the bao and the fritter dessert. I will definitely return to taste the other dishes.

Small, but filling, plates. The waiter recommend two starters, two small plates, and a flatbread for the two of us and even with only one starter (lotus root crisps) it was actually (slightly) too much. We followed the lotus root crisps with a stunning octopus - tender but crispy! - and beef shin with marrow bone - spicy and done perfectly! We chose the Yuzu Avocado flatbread with homemade chili jam - outstanding! Reasonably priced with excellent service and friendly staff! Our first meal since arriving in London on holiday and we have decided we have to go back (at least) once before ending out holiday! There are many, many wonderful restaurants in London, we know, but this was a very special treat!

Food was delicious, with the waiter explaining the composition of every dish as he served it. Expensive, but worth it. Food discount and £5 cocktails before 7!

Awesome food. Awesome drinks. Great service. A funky little joint making some really tasty food and some interesting cocktails. Our waiter was really good at helping us order the right amount of food (ie not too much). Highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful birthday dinner at Pickled fred! Absolutely delicious food and cocktails. The jackfruit scotch egg, peanut satay flat bread and apple & sesame fritters were the winners for me! The service is also great!

Fantastic cocktails, pickles and service. We will definitely be recommending Pickled Fred to friends, and will be back to finish trying out the cocktail menu and will try more of the food menu.

Awesome food (really flavourful with great variety - the jack fruit scotch egg, lamb kofta, all of the flatbreads and the apple fritter caramel things were delish!), excellent and friendly service, and great vibe. Can't wait to go back!

Great food with choices for all dietary requirements. The cocktails were lovely too! Staff are extremely nice. They forgot part of our order but it worked out ok as we were pretty full, so we didn’t say anything. I’m sure if we’d have asked they would have taken care of it straightaway. Will go back and highly recommend!

Friendly and efficient staff,great atmosphere, lovely to see so many smiling faces. Cocktails were amazing it was great to be able to choose from such an array and the guy mixing them really knew what he was doing. So nice to go somewhere a bit different without feeling uncomfortable. Oh and yes we all enjoyed our food.

Great variety of Asian and Asian inspired sharing dishes. Everything was very tasty with no disappointing options. Our favourites were the scotch egg and the beef rendang. It was our second visit and it was as good as before!
