OK but far from the bestvsunday lunch I've had. Beef over cooked, poor selection of veg, awful Yorkshire puddings, doesn't appear to be made in house. Cheap deal through Groupon so can't complain to much. Venue needs a new cleaner, table was sticky and shelves covered in dust.

A perfect evening. Lovely menu and beautiful food. The service was out of this world. The decor and ambience is very good. Very clean and presentable

Really enjoyed our sharing Sunday lunch and the unique way it was presented would definitely have a return visit to this restaurant . Booking process was also very simple online

Not the greatest restaurant in Cardiff. Service wasn’t great, drinks were alright and food was pretty poor. In all honestly we couldn’t wait to leave.

The staff were friendly and made us welcome. It was a relaxed atmosphere. Was dissapointed in the quality of the food. My daughter especially as they didnt have Yorkshire puddings as advertised. The chicken was dry. I would revisit but not for the sunday lunch.

Very average. Our friends’ meals were not cooked well so returned. Salad was ok, chicken was dry. Wouldn’t go again. One waitress not very nice.

Really lovely, attentive staff and good food and drinks! It is reasonably priced too. The place is very nice (especially when sitting outside) and clean.

Absolutely fantastic. Visited on possibly the most erratic Sunday Cardiff has ever seen with Cardiff city winning promotion to the premier league, combined with a burning hot bank holiday and a Noel Gallagher gig around the corner in the evening, yet I still had a glorious Sunday roast, which I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. A big Thank You for adding to the experience of an amazing day

Excellent food, friendly service. The food is simple, inspired and tasty. Well presented and fast service, but with time to socialise if you need. The bottled beer I fancied trying was out, but they gave me a taste of one and a recommendation of another (and I discovered Tenby rum porter! Amazing!) My parents, my son and me and my wife all enjoyed - so something for everything. Can't wait to go back and try the rarebit pizza when it joins the menu soon!

Not very impressed . We visited on a very busy night. Limited menu. Had a pulled pork burger. Chips tasted like over cooked oven chips and the burger bun was slightly stale. Not even a salad garnish in sight, just sone shop bought coleslaw. Not worth £10.50! The waitress was very stressed!!

Loved my visit to Pitch. Very good, varied menu and our meals were excellent. Highly recommend the halloumi burger and fries. Good wine menu - enjoyed a couple of glasses of French wine which was fabulous and perfectly chilled. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

The food was phenomenal as well as the service, my group was large and slightly boisterous but the staff were amazing and very hands on and polite when it came to keeping the group happy. The drinks were wonderful and food was very tasty and decently priced. Would definitely go again

Absolutely delicious and great service. Fantastic cocktails and tasty beer too! Have been here a couple of times now and will definitely be visiting again.

Best healthy meal I have had for years plenty of vegetables without any butter or sauce, fish was good, thank you for helping with the diet.

Another great visit. Cost setting, excellent food and lovely attentive staff ! A little gem on a busy street in the city centre. Can’t recommend enough.

We went for the Sunday roast which looked great but we were disappointed that the gravy was not homemade nor were the Yorkshire puddings. The meat was very nice, and the Belly pork in particular was extremely tasty. A lovely quaint little place but not as expected. More fresh homemade items needed to justify the price!

We had very good breakfast there (and surprisingly nice coffee!), but it's definitely the place for a drink or two. Not a lot of space inside.

Great welcome. Fantastic food, absolutely recommend this little find in Mill Lane. Tasty, well presented hot food. Gorgeous cocktails and a good range in quirky surroundings. We definitely will be back!

The food is superb and the service fantastic and friendly. We didn't try them but the cocktails looked incredible. A real gem in Cardiff centre

Lovely breakfast and drinks! A little disappointed they only did an extremely limited breakfast menu on match days as we chose this place for their lovely looking menu. We could only chose from a full breakfast or a veggie breakfast! Also, we were forgotten about after our drink orders. We’ll put it down to a very busy day as I would like to try this place again on a more quieter day.

Great food, lovely service and extensive cocktails- make sure you book as it's very small :) well worth it and had a nice meal. :)

Very warm welcome, great local food, good service, fun atmosphere. The drinks menu was excellent too. The menu is not vast but broad and focused on local food.

Our main courses were very nice and the service very good. However, the pancakes we ordered for dessert were inedible. One of them was raw in the middle, and I don't know whether salt had been used instead of sugar or if the eggs were rotten but they simply were not fit to be eaten.

We recently moved to South Wales so try to visit restaurants around Cardiff we've never tried before instead of typical nanda and wagamamas. We found this after googling best places for breakfast on Cardiff so thought we'd give it a go. Absolutely delicious food. And a stunning restaurant. Will absolutely be visiting again.

Love bringing friends here - it’s a little gem! Food is always amazing. Only downside this time, we were sat upstairs directly under the speaker which was a little too loud. But everything else was fab! Just booked to come back again this weekend!

Nice relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday midday. Friendly service at this small bar / restaurant. Helped sort a problem out with one meal which was appreciated. would recommend the Chicken with blue cheese and Cheesecake Eton Mess!!

Staff were helpful and friendly The restaurant service upstairs was prompt Food was lovely (seabass and the chicken) Shame about the plastic glasses although it was fight night at the stadium

Pitch has a really great atmosphere with decent music and lovely drinks. The garlic bread was delicious and other food was good although not a lot of choice.

Perfect atmosphere, delicious food literally some of the best lamb we’ve ever had and we eat lamb quite often. Fabulous drink deals and Paul was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!
