As the newest addition to the small Pivaz family, this, the Pivaz Brentwood restaurant, defines elegant Turkish and Mediterranean dining. On Brentwood High Street – right in the middle of this now famous little town – Pivaz is decorated with contemporary simplicity in a way that complements the food just right. Expect starters like hot and cold mezze, as well as grilled delights and an assortment of seafood, vegetarian and chef’s specials to whet your appetite. Brentwood locals are quickly coming to love this place, so a reservation is well worth it.
Pivaz’s restaurants are going from strength to strength, and its third and newest outlet in Brentwood is proof of its culinary prowess with a wide assortment of dishes from across the Mediterranean – most notably of Turkish influence. Conveniently located right in the heart of town, Pivaz Brentwood oozes contemporary elegance from its location on Brentwood High Street, bringing you sumptuous delights designed to showcase a myriad of flavours and textures representative of its cuisine.
As you might expect, there are plenty of hot and cold mezze dishes to kick off your visit to Pivaz Brentwood. Order a few – or as many of them as you wish at a time – to work up your appetite for the main course to follow. And it’s here where Pivaz Brentwood truly shines, with its dizzying array of salads, grilled meats, seafood, chef’s specials, and more that will satisfy even the pickiest of diners. Have a go at the ten-ounce prime scotch rib-eye steak if you’re feeling particularly hungry, or take your pick from lighter vegetarian dishes such as the ricotta and spinach stuffed aubergine. For dessert, treat yourself to Turkish sweets like baklava or kunefe, best paired with a glass of Moscato or one of the restaurant’s liqueur coffees for that unforgettable finish. A rising star in the small but otherwise growing Brentwood dining scene, Pivaz Brentwood is a must-visit spot in the town centre – one that we highly recommend booking ahead to snag the best seats.
Lovely meal, great atmosphere and the cocktails are awesome. Staff are really attentive. A great night out! Would recommended it for a group or a couple
Great food, and good service will be returning very soon
Great service, very friendly waiters. Food is excellent, especially the Chicken sheesh for main course. Cocktails and desserts are particularly good and very pretty! Would definitely recommend for a night out
Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere couldn’t fault it. Goats cheese starter was delicious and lamb chops cooked to perfection will definitely be returning soon.
A Turkish restaurant that runs out of lamb on a busy night 5 days before Xmas.......very poor planning. Food lovely, albeit not what we actually wanted! Service ok but long wait for starter, main served immediately, then were hurried thru dessert. Did not warrant the £26 tip that was automatically added to our bill, then we were asked to explain why we wanted it removed. All in all, food good but service let it down (2nd experience of this). Sadly, won't be in a hurry to return 😐
Arrived 5mins early for a 8pm reservation, told table not ready and directed to bar upstairs. Two G&T £16.00 - over priced!! Waited until 8.15pm with no contact from staff to inform us table was ready. Decided to head back downstairs to reception rather than have another drink at the bar. Was told table was ready, would have been nice for staff to inform us! Had to wait another 15mins for menus and for our drinks order to be taken. The food, when it arrived, was very good - though didn't like, what tasted packet salad with the starter. The bar prices are a con, but the food was very good.
Very disappointed. Main course arrived after 2 hours and it was cold. We waited 40 mins for drinks the came after our starter. We sent main course back and left as the service just wasn't acceptable. Staff were focusing on a couple of tables that had some Z listers. The waitress staff and hostess were pleasant but not a clue about customer service. The toilets have boxes of tissues to dry your hands ! Place looks beautiful I hope that it improves as brentwood is already inundated with mediocre chain restaurants. Staff were apologetic and shared that they are having lots of teething problems and can't get staff. I also have a friend that visited last week and waited 40 minutes for anyone to take a drinks order and 3 hour wait for the main Cocktails were lovely and the food we saw others eat looked nice but sadly we left starving and frustrated. The bread and dips starter was good.
Food was delicious (I had battered prawns followed by rib eye) and service was good. Loads of complimentary bread and sauces which was nice. My only moan is they I would’ve preferred to have tipped the waitress rather than pay £27 service charge on the bill. Could’ve refused to pay it I guess but we had a taxi waiting outside.
Food was good as previous visits. Just feel that the service needs to go up a level as head waiters always appear to have to remind staff to pay attention to tables. We didn't have too much of a problem but it was evident this was going on around the restaurant.
Lovely food (we went for the kebab menu although the breakfast looked good), and a really nice restaurant. We went on a day when the weather was awful (snow) and they were fully operational. We also took our young son, and there was a good children's menu and high chair.
