Food was average if that, tasteless and expensive for what it was. The service was good. Wine for £15 bottle was also average. Atmosphere was good

Lovely relaxing Atmosphere, very quick and efficient staff and service with really lovely food across the menu....All in all was a very pleasant meal out!

Think the name of the restaurant lets it down massively. Food was ok and so was the service. May go back to try other dishes.

Had to wait 1 1/2 hours for food. When it came after several moans certain items were cold but the 'wraps were lovely. We were given free drinks and negotiated a discount. They must do better. Manager very approachable and sorry.

I have been using this place since it first opened. Highly recommended. Prefer it in the summer months as it has a pleasant outside seating area.

Food - lovely. Service - rubbish. I had read reviews saying that the service was not good but decided to give it a try. We had two waiters who wanted our order before we had even taken our coats off and sat down! For starters we ordered a pizza to share between the four of us. It came on a slate platter with knives and forks but no plates! Then before we had even finished, they brought our starters! We asked for a jug of water so that we could share - we got three glasses of water, which wasn't what we wanted. One of our troupe did not get her meal at the same time as the rest of us. When it arrived, it was basically a bowl of pasta with sauce but NO MEAT in it! The majority of staff appeared to be young students, who had obviously not been trained in customer service/catering.

Was nice steak rig eye and garlic prawn. But was not too keen on mash and hullomi sujuk starter. food was not long to wait

really disappointing, I paid 60 pounds for 5 bottles of Trebbiano, they gave us bottles already opened after refilling them with very low quality white wine. they claim to have an Italian pizzaiolo but clearly they don't know what a pizza is if they serve the pizza ai frutti di mare with mussel shells and cheese on top. It was my last day with my colleagues so I didn't want to spoil the evening but definitely I would not suggest anyone to go there for a dinner.

The restaurant had a pleasamt relaxed atmosphere. The menu is great for casual diners. Food was well cooked amd tasty. The card payment machine often doesn't work apparently but there is a cashpoint inside.

PGR is a really clean restaurant with amazing food and excellent customer service. All in all we had an amazing evening and really enjoyed ourselves. I'd definitely recommend

The food is okay but not outstanding ... But it's a good value for money (and they have a good student discount) . The service is good, can be a little long.

The service and overall vibe of the environment was excellent. The food was beautifully cooked too, really enjoyed our night there. Definitely recommend the place!

Good service reasonable price 25% off when booked online between Monday and Thursday!! Portion sizes were also a great size with a relaxed atmosphere Will come again

Beautiful restaurant and incredible food. It's a hidden gem in the centre of Coventry and I'll certainly be coming back soon. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly. The price is also reasonable for the tasty food. I would recommend PGR to family and friends.

Poor quality food, slow service and unfriendly environment! If you are a student looking for cheap food in Coventry then this may suit but anything else it's definitely not worth the time and money

Food was hot, tasty and basically amazing. The service was excellent all of the staff were very friendly, definitely visit again and 100% would recommend to friends!

Didn't think the service was great, very slow considering it wasn't that busy. The food was very mediocre, my pasta was nice but the daughter and sisters gnocchi dish was very cheap tasting, they weren't impressed at all. So all in all I wouldn't go back again :(

The restaurant is quite big with nice interior and seating arrangement,they welcomed us with complementary starters which was quite nice of them,there starters are nice in quantity so 1 is enough for 2 ppl,they have a lot of options in food and drinks and the quantity is really good.Overall the experience was good!

Food was nice however rude and lazy staff as well as very slow service, take a long time to even bring a coke and water to our table even though it was not busy

Great lunchtime venue with quality food and reasonable prices. Book online and take advantage of a discount off menu prices. Would recommend highly for its relaxed atmosphere and only 5 mins away from the main city centre.

Service was poor and food arrived late did not take card payment either so I had to get cash to pay Will not be going here again

Fantastic meal and very attentive staff I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who s in Coventry and looking or a nice Italian style restaurant

Service was extremely slow and inconsistent: Waited over half an hour for drinks, an hour for food. When the food came half of the orders were incorrect. Manager was really quite rude and patronising towards one of our friends.

Really pleasant interior, friendly staff, excellent food. Highly recommended for calzone. Sometimes the music can be a bit loud, but the food and drinks will compensate.

Sorry to say, boring food, wrong orders, lost orders (!), stressed staff, and ridiculously slow and poor service. Only good thing was the decor/ambience! Wont be returning.

Good expririence and very cheap for students (40% discount) every day anytime. I suggest it for student because is otherwise you pay the food very expensive.

i have visited this restaurant with a group of 8 and as a couple. The staff are always polite, the decor has a mexican feel about it which adds pleasantly to the atmosphere. The food is always good although the service is not always as prompt as one would like at times.

Everything was good. There is still way to improve the services but in overall we were satisfied and I would go there again. Great place.

Excellent food, polite and friendly staff. Our party of eight had no complaints and were pleasantly surprised at this unique restaurant in the heart of Coventry. Will definitely go again.

The food was great, we did have to wait a little long for it but the restaurant did seem busy, so not a huge issue. The staff were very friendly and the few times that they were unorganised, was actually more charming than annoying. Recommend this place.

Food was lovely, freshly cooked we all had different dishes , pizza , steak and pasta all were brillant. But the service was not so good was slow and seemed a little disorganised. The staff were however friendly and welcoming.

I've been here before and the experience was fantastic with great service and lovely food. This time around, not so much. The food was still good, with the steak maybe a little over done, but the service was terrible, we were served by roughly 5-6 different staff, we waited around an hour after ordering to receive our food and some of the conversations we had with staff were comical. One waiter came to the table with a dish but didnt know what it was, he guessed that he 'thinks it might be pork' (it was a fillet steak). Would go back again and give it another try as the food is good value but they need to sort their service out.
