Will definitely be going back! Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the ability to buy a carafe of wine instead of full bottles meant that we could try different wines with our meal, great!

The £35pp 5 course tasting menu was delicious and amazing value for the quality of the cooking and ingredients. There was even a 6th surprise course thrown in! Mixed reviews on the drinks. The old fashioned in particular wasn't fantastic, and the wine is quite pricey, however we chose one of the cheaper reds and had no complaints in the end as the quality shone through. The staff were brilliant, friendly and very knowledgeable around the menu. Service slowed down a little towards the end of the meal, I think due to the kitchen rather than front of house, so this could be an issue on a busier night. Generally the whole meal went at a relaxed, unhurried pace. Will definitely visit again.

Sat outside in the back raised garden on a warm April evening. What's not to like. Great menu concept too with chefs holding a temporary residency so you can come back each month and eat something completely different. Original wine list too.

First visit to Platform 1. Greeted by very friendly staff and directed to the outside eating area for a pre dinner drink. Outside dining space was very attractive but to cold to sit out to eat dinner so we requested inside dining . Tasting menu was almost the only option. The very limited al carte had almost the same dishes as the tasting menu so not much of an alternative choice. We found the food ok but nothing very special and ridiculously small portions. Interesting and unusual wine list, many of the listed bottles where unknown to us but the white and red wines we chose where excellent but expensive. I don't think there was a bottle under £25 on the list. We left still feeling hungry and they had added an extra bottle of wine to our bill which we did not have. Don't think we will rush back.

A really interesting concept supporting up and coming chefs for a set period of time, Platform 1 allows you to taste, learn and explore. Passion for the food, wine and concept comes across in all parts of the experience from the carefully curated wine list to the unusual ingredients. Hearing about the who, why, how and where around our food and wine really enhanced the experience. The 5 course tasting menu comes out slowly and portions are super- tasty but a little dainty: perfect for a lingering enjoyable evening and great value. The accompanying 'wine flight' (a different glass with every course) is excellent value and perfectly complimented the food - highly recommended. We will definitely be back as soon as the menu changes. A perfect evening: thank you.

Had Mother's Day lunch here with my family, our first visit here, meal was lovely and well presented. We were very well accommodated even when we said we were going to be late for our reservation. The only negative is the portion sizes were little small, otherwise thoroughly enjoyable.

Good food but absolutely chaotic service. Desperately need an extra waiter or waitress. Shame because the food was excellent but the service really let the whole experience down.

Wonderful, wonderful food. Every course was beautifully judged both in terms of flavour and in size. Very steep wine prices but overall a terrific evening.

Unfortunately we left before we ate any food. It was chaotic with not enough front of house staff therefore service was very slow. After 50 mins we were given a drink on the house but our table wasn't ready and we hadn't been given any menus. It looked like there was one lady serving the whole restaurant

Fantastic tasting menu as always. For £35 this really is one of the best value restaurants around. The chefs change every six months and the menu changes every couple of weeks giving real variety to regular visitors. The cocktail and wine lists are excellent, I particularly appreciated most of the wines being available in half bottles.

Delicious tasting menu which had me trying things I would not have ordered like smoked eel. Love the concept of pop up chefs so that each time you go the whole experience could be very different. Modern décor and really friendly service with full explanations of each dish. Highly recommend.

This is just the most fabulous restaurant. It never disappoints, always surprises and unfailingly delights. The food is delicious (and given its 'permanent pop-up' nature, ever-changing) and prepared with great care and served with such enthusiasm. The wine list is wonderful too....try something you've never heard of. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and buzzy....what more could you want?!

Always love platform 1. Fantastic food from brilliant chefs, and reasonably priced to boot. The rotating chefs are a great idea, and I'm yet to have a bad meal.

Really lovely Sunday lunch, we went for the Chicken, very tasty. Loads of vegetables, just what we like (carrot, parsnip, kale, red cabbage, roast spuds) and the cauliflower cheese was delicious. Really good wine selection and great that you can buy 1/2 bottles. The red French Maury desert wine is a must to try. Sunday lunch menu is limited at the moment with one desert (Brownie) looking forward to the addition of more deserts and maybe a couple of starters...

Service felt a bit stretched/stressed food good but no where near enough in the 5 course tasting menu, all left hungry and ate at home. mixed feelings on the quality of the food on the menu, some was exceptional 5/5 stars, other plates very questionable 2/5 stars.
