Perfect. Everything I hoped it would be, and even more so.
All good, most enjoyable , service very efficient and friendly
Service was outstanding, also love that it's available to book
We arrived earlier than our reservation and were seated downstairs food was amazing and service excellent
Food was delicious, service was great, ambience was really nice. Great value for money, only thing I'd say is that the music was a bit loud for so early in the day, but it didn't really bother us.
Very enjoyable with great tapas and good wine pre theatre
It was great and quiet, so we could talk...the service was perfect!
Excellent selection of 'Cicheti' at reasonable prices and in a friendly, informal environment. Recommended!
Great food, truly delicious and nice service. I’ll be back.
Delicious food and cosy dining experience, highly recommended. Fabulous martinis
Our first visit to Polpo proved an absolute delight. Great dishes of food presented in an original way to create a wonderful meal. Good selection of wines available. A busy, bustling atmosphere with staff who were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making a great evening.
Amazing food and service- thank you. Special thanks to our waiter - Toni (?) who was attentive and really knowledgeable.
Had a lovely visit, tasty as usual. Thank you very much.
Love this place - great staff, great food. Not overcrowded - always a solid go to place in London
Food was okay but not outstanding. Service was appalling: lots of time between plates served and waiter was rude and unhelpful. Overall not a good experience
The Aperol spritz had no taste or bubbles and we left after the cichetti as the service was so poor.
It was a satisfactory experience. The food lack seasoning and needs to be improved upon in terms of finishing. The service was somewhat lackluster as well.
Atmosphere was cozy, the portions were a little small but the prices were low as well, so you don't get overcharged. Good overall.
Went before the ballet and the food was really good. Especially recommend the frito misto.
Great service and very good food Enjoyed our visit D
We visit a couple of times a year when we get to London. Food and staff always amazing. Thank you
Vibrant, cosy, informal place, if a bit darkly lit. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. All the dishes we had were tasty and well put together but some were particularly good: mushroom arancini, the hake, the pumpkin and the orange & almond cake and value is very fair.
A fantastic restaurant- everything you could want. Will be back.
Great food, lots of small tasty plates. Good friendly service. They explained the dishes and how do order. Very nice meal.
Good food, great service, great location Thank you very much.
Food was excellent, and I love the peach cocktail, great atmosphere.
Fun, very good food, casual, noisy, good value. Our second visit.
Good Tapas based menu with some interesting little dishes. Enjoyable.
Delicious food nice atmosphere Great wine Service was slow but staff were lovely
Cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious. It would’ve been helpful to receive more guidance from the waiter regarding food portion size. We did ask, but he was very helpful initially. Not sure if it was bad timing or him being overworked.
Tasty food. Friendly, efficient service. Cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend
Booked ahead, so no waiting for a table. Service was pretty slow, but friendly. Tasty little Italian tapas style dishes. Expensive for the portion sizes, but tasty. Dishes didn’t come all together, so it did feel like we were constantly waiting for something. Nice little restaurant, music quite loud.
The menu had changed for the worse, very poor selection, no vegetarian menus or decent options
Portion sizes seemed smaller than usual and pasta dishes were struck from the menu entirely? The manager kept messing around with the lighting and dimmed the lights ridiculously low. I'm all for trying to create an ambiance, but we needed our phone torches to read the menu. Such a shame, as I'm a frequent patron of Polpo Covent Garden, but I think I might give it a rest for a while.
Great restaurant but rest rooms could do with an update
Perfect place to catch up with friends, somewhere different and with character in Covent garden. Authentic, varied menu .of yummy treats. Crostini with crab & fennel was perfect. Fried olives a lovely surprise. Courgette fries were a bit soggy and lacked flavour, but I guess I shouldn't expect too much from a courgette! Decent Negronis too. Thanks to the lovely staff.
Great food all dishes were fresh exciting and full of flavour will definitely recommend. Prices were also reasonable especially for around Covent Garden.
Really good tapas dishes, we had one of the brushchetta’s and then the sea bass, and a couple of others to share between 2. Was a really nice evening.
Excellent food, excellent service. Have already recommended it to friends.
Fantastic service and delicious food, especially the zucchini fries. Thank you!
