Food excellent . Not a lot of choice. Wine is expensive and i prefer a proper glass. Aroma's of the wine are lost. Overall recommandable.

Food was great but unfortunately the service was slow - food came before the wine, which they had forgotten so we had to re-order.

All good - courses came in a bit of an uncordinated way - eg zuchini frites came on their own first and the lambs lettuce salad didn't show up till we'd virtually finished the main courses. But otherwise all fine and very friendly - we like friendly. All things are ok if there's friendly and open hospitality

We had a fabulous afternoon, just eating, drinking and chatting. No one rushed us and it was simply wonderful. We were impressed with everything we ordered including the light rose wine.

Very disappointing visit. Service was terrible despite there only being a few people in the restaurant. The food was tasty but not very hot and half of the meal didn't arrive.

Food was good, but sadly the restaurant didn't live up to expectations as a birthday treat.

the service was bad. they wanted us to leave within 40 mins of us sitting there. If they were closing soon they should have let us know when we entered. at the end they literally cleared the table without asking if we were done with the food.

Very high in standard, staff are professional and the food is quite nice. Reasonably priced.

Not great. Waiter couldn’t care less. Lack of service. Crab and chilli linguine bland. Decor no longer rustic looking, just tatty and dirty. Polpo was once great. Now overpriced and lacking in flavour.

Great food, friendly service and good value for money. The portion size was generous considering they are tapas dishes and plenty to share. We came here for a pre-theatre dinner and left extremely satisfied. The venue is trendy but space however is small and can feel like you are sitting on top of one another particularly when it gets busy. It is a trendy venue.

It had been a while since our last visit to Polpo and it was just as good as we remembered. Even better, I have to say, that we didn’t have to queue up outside to get a table anymore. I loved the nduja arancini and asparagus pizzette. Will definitely go back.
