Great food, atmosphere and service, nice location and warm welcome.
Delicious food in a relaxed and comfortable environment with attentive but not overbearing service.
It was great service was friendyly and efficient. Had a great time
Stayed all eve, and loved the relaxed atmosphere. Great food and wine and no pestering to leave after a certain hour. When busy, it was a bit difficult to hear our conversation, but aside from this fab experience.
A fun, bustling restaurant with tasty food at reasonable prices despite the menu being carb-heavy (pizza, pasta, bruscetta and arancini). The staff were polite and efficient but lacked the charm that I have experienced in restaurants elsewhere. The table for 2 was quite small and wedged between two other tables so I could clearly hear my neighbour's conversation and the table was not big enought to comfortably hold all of the sharing dishes. Whilst I would probably go again, next time with a group of friends, it is not top of my list.
I didn’t give the happiest face for 2 reasons. The first one is that I don’t like to drink Bellinis out of a water glass and secondly that they’ve changed the crab linguine. I preferred it before it became all about the creamy cheese taste and less about the chilli tomato taste.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, especially whilst I was waiting 40 minutes for a friend to arrive. They made me feel welcome and they were fun throughout the evening. We will definitely be back to this little gem of a place.
So so lovely, the food was delicious and the waiter was very friendly. I love the atmosphere in Polpo, you really feel like you're in Venice. The Fritto Misto and trout were really tasty and great portions 👍
Lovely relaxed venue with the normal buzz that you get in an Italian. No rush with leaving the table either. Food was lovely and overall I would recommend and also I would return when I am in this part of London
I was really looking forward to eating here and enjoyed it but the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The starters were delicious but the pasta was overcooked which I think is pretty unimpressive for an Italian restaurant! A mouse ran through the dining room while we were eating.
