They were closed. Will not use this site again. Very disappointed, friends had travelled and a special evening was ruined. No comms from site as to restaurant closure.
Hey.. Portifino is a great place and found us a table despite not having been notified we were coming.. The resteraun is fine. The app not so much..
While the food and wine were excellent, the service was slow due to there being a large party of elderly Christmas revellers! Otherwise a 6.
It was the first time I have been to Portofino and I would go again. The online booking was very straightforward and the food and service was very good. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going.
We had great service, delicious food and the lunchtime special menu was a bargain with 2 courses for £9.95. Portion sizes are nice and generous too.
Lovely food great service what more can you ask? If I was in the area again I would definitely return. A little gem on the edge of the new forest.
