A delicious meal and extremely good value. Staff are very professional and attentive. Even on a cold Monday evening, the restaurant had a welcoming feel and the food did not disappoint.

Mother's Day dinner - excellent service for a packed restaurant, food very good for a la carte on such a busy day - usually it would be a fixed menu. Will definitely visit again in the very near future.

Food excellent( with good vegetarian options ) and service also very efficient. I had goats cheese salad as starter and Halloumi skewers as main course.( both excellent ) My only comment is that in my opinion the lighting is too bright.

I'm a regular customer. It is like really being in France here, except that east London is out of the window. The set menu - that changes frequently - is authentic, varied and very good value. The wines are good. And the service is personal and friendly. Let's put it this way: I've not been to Provender with anyone who doesn't say, 'I must come back here'.

I have Visited Provender a number of times and have always been very pleased with the experience. The food is good, service friendly and accurate, environment pleasant and prices quite reasonable.

A real French, not faux French menu. Rillettes, magret de canard, rabbit etc. Start with a Ricard finish with a poire euu-de-vie and enjoy everything in between. Prix fixe menu is a steal and all prices reasonable.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal, excellent service and lovely surroundings. All the dishes were well judged and beautifully balanced. The set menu is generous and a reasonable price. House wine is excellent.

Lovely food, great service, reasonable prices all make for an excellent experience. Unfortunately as we are doing "dry January" we didn't have wine, but I know from previous visits the list is varied and interesting.

This is a lovely restaurant in Wanstead serving French food. The plat du jour is very good value for money but I would like to see more choices. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will go back.

Great. As ever. The Roquefort Creme Brûlée turned out to be this year’s little bit of menu genius. A surprise but amazing, although definitely worth getting a glass of something cool and sweet to offset it with.

Nice restaurant on the High Street. Clean and smart. Food was very nice and the service was good. The prices are reasonable for what you get - poulet fermier with frites for about £16.00.

As always great service, food and ambience. A lovely local restaurant that never lets you down. We had rabbit and duck, both highly recommended, followed by a couple of well chosen cheeses.

Visited here recently and it was okay. Portions a little small. Food abit underseasoned. Service friendly but haphazard. Maybe i’d go back if I was in the area again
