Authentic french experience in Wanstead! Nice relaxing atmosphere, super food. And they noted our anniversary with a candle on the dessert! Couldn't have been better.

First outing to a restaurant since lockdown(It was our last one before the lockdown) Felt safe, tables were spaced apart, surprising number of diners for mid week. Never had a bad meal here and will continue to support them. Good friendly service

As always Provender delivers fabulous quality food and ambience. Their social distancing measures are sensible and well thought out but do not detract from a fantastic night out. We have missed their presence in Wanstead and are delighted they are open again.

Felt just like a normal dining experience, safety measures were in place but they didn’t obstruct how nice it was to be out for a meal.

This was my first restaurant visit after lockdown. The food was fabulous, as always, the welcome warm, no rushing by staff, everything perfect!

In a world where everything is so uncertain, it’s so sad to see empty restaurants around us as people are nervous to eat out. Provender have managed to spaciously seat everyone comfortably. The food was sensational. Beautiful goats cheese salad, a delicious steak frites and devine Pana cotta. The wine was a beautiful room temperature and the service just impeccable. Thank you so so much!

First evening dining out since restaurants reopened after lockdown, and the experience was great - fewer tables but otherwise very similar to dining out pre-lockdown, friendly service and delicious food.

As with previous visits, the food, wine and desserts is of top quality. Vivienne serves with a smile and is always friendly.

First meal out since Covid-19 began. The food was stunning, best goats cheese salad I have had. Waiters were attentive but not too much. Menus were available to read on your phones if you didn't want a menu. Overall a wonderful first night out since all the madness.

Took my 4yr old daughter for lunch so she could remember what eating outside home was like; she loved it

It was great to be back at Provender after what felt like an age. The changes in place because of Covid-19 had hardly changed the overall experience. I was most impressed!

We had a really lovely time unfortunately our table was near the window so it was a bit chilly but it was not the restaurant fault it is the good old English weather
