Good food and vegan too. We visit regularly. Plant powered night is especially good.
Good as ever, particularly at such a busy time as this.

Very helpful, informative and friendly staff. The menu was varied with veggie options. The food was delicious with wonderful flavours. Very relaxed atmosphere. Hope to go again soon.
Upon arrival to Punch I was struck by the beauty of the transformation from dark and musty antique furniture store to bright and airy modern. The bell tolls for both early modern Spain and commercial Americana. There do seem to be some growing pains. The amuse bouche of crackers and chickpea dip (yes dry on dry, to get us to buy more cocktails?) was prepared on a table cluttered with an Amazon box and table cleaning rags and spray and the booths were storage for boxes and steamers. In need of a closet and a tidy already. We started with the bread and olive oil. The quality of this produce was impeccable and we really appreciated the olive oil and great sourdough. Next came the pear and walnut salad with blue cheese. The cheese was tasty however the pear, described in the menu as poached were white, anemic and lacked flavour. The lettuce chosen overpowered the nuts and pears. I did wipe up every speck of the sweet lemony dressing with the last of the sourdough. The fish burgers came next. The brioche buns were small and perfectly formed delights and the fish was fine. As fish burgers they were good and I think anyone who likes fish burgers or fish tacos would enjoy them. Are they Spanish? Would I call them flavoursome? Next was the steak, predictably my husband’s preferred tapas. The sauce and potatoes were delicious and the steak was well seasoned and served a nice medium. Good quality beef with good marbling without and grizzly bits. The last tapas we ordered was the paella. I really enjoyed the flavour in the rice and the gratin. The sausage in the rice was top shelf. The chicken was overcooked. The stylish but small pan the dish was served in meant that there was not enough space in the pan for those carmelised bits of rice and sausage that I will fight for on the perimeter of the paella pan. After dinner coffees were perfect, a really great coffee worth going back for, were the churros. Fab!
Love Punch, we have probably been about 20 times. The food is really tasty and the service is always really good too. So many dishes stand out but my favourites are the Haloumi Fritters, broccoli fritters, Shrimp Pil Pil, patatas bravas, salmon and beetroot thingies, pig's cheek - well basically everything. We normally order 3 dishes each and its just about the right amount. They serve excellent wine and very tasty non alcoholic Spanish beer too. For dessert the choros are delicious.
we ordered two kids meals and 6 tapas dishes as well as skin on fries, which we cant resist, they are just too good. the food was amazing as per usual and the service extemely good. lovely place, great service and relaxed vibe. Love it!!! we will be back on Friday to sample the new menu. Thank you Punch.
We have eaten at Punch before but generally at weekends. We did wonder if a Wednesday night might be a bit different but no it did not let us down. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was a vibrant as ever. Great!
Service was really good, staff were very friendly, lovely atmosphere and the tapas were delicious. There wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy. It was our first time at Punch Tapas but it won’t be our last. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you. Anita
