Lovely place, would visit again but unfortunately they had run out of Prosecco on the night we were there. Downstairs was very busy with a DJ and a younger crowd, Pies were fabulous!

Excellent staff! Brilliant food! Really cool location... what's not to love at Putney Pies? We were lucky enough to hear some excellent music on the night we were there, and I highly recommend checking out which nights you can hear it too

Great service, I had the beef pie with triple cooked chips. Both were delicious! I also had a few pints of pedigree which was kept very well. I will be returning soon!

I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find large portions and a very exciting menu. The icing on the cake was finishing my meal and going downstairs to the vault and out onto the embankment for a drink. Very well priced too.

I've previously been to the Vault which is excellent and wanted to try the food this time before heading downstairs to see the live band. Unfortunately visiting between xmas and the new year there wasn't a band on and the vault was closed. The food was great and the service was friendly and personal and will definitely return. Only marked down due to the fact the Vault was closed and we weren't expecting that.

This is a lovely place, delicious food & overall great service until the end when although we had paid the bill the waitress prompted us to leave as others were waiting for the table, that is what were were intending to do but to be told this was unnecessary and a spoiler to our experience as it was a birthday celebration. It made it seem that once we'd finished we were no longer wanted...ship them in & out as fast as possible. We had booked the table & did not know that there was a time limit for the table. We had only been there an hour, there were others at tables close by who were seated at the same time but were still there & there empty plates were still on the table. Maybe this was just bad luck for us but beware that booking a table may mean you are not able to stay much longer after you have finished eating.

Putney Pies is a real gem at the bottom of Putney High Street. The staff are welcoming and attentive, which adds to the fantastic atmosphere. The menu has a selection of incredible food and I had the Venison and Chorizo pie, which was amazing! All in all, a great experience.

Great staff and good food. Gentle ambiance in a riverside bar and restaurant. The basement bar leads to the river bank with amiable views over the Thames.

Whilst the food I had was good, there were too many food and drink options - of the 4 things I would have preferred to have, 3 were unavailable

I went there today for lunch with two old friends, none of us had been there before. The food was really great and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a tour of the whole place after the meal and it would be a great venue for an office party, or any kind of party really! The basement runs under the road and then out to the river, it must be amazing in the summer. We would definitley all go again. Gail Colson

Worst service I've had in a while. Rude guy behind the bar looked annoyed at being there and treated it like he was doing us a favour. Then they tried to force us to pay service charge at 12.5% - no way.

Fantastic food, really great waiter, good drinks and cocktail menu. Very reasonably priced for quality. Very busy - definitely need to book a table. Two waiting staff quite stretched for the number of tables so long wait for plates to be cleared and puddings offered but initial service and food very quick. Thoroughly recommend!

Delicious pies. A perfect place to catch up with a nice relaxed atmosphere and music. The waiter was lovely, knew the menu back to front and let us sit and chat rather than hurry us out.

Delicious food, catering for vegetarians as well as the meat eaters and the pescatarians too. serving great wines, a decent range of ales, boasts a nice interior, alongside interesting artworks, service fairly slow in terms of the British norm.

Lovely small restaurant with wooden panellng and a relaxed feel. The pies are full of flavour and cooked on the premises (no microwaving here). WIth a good range of cocktails (think salted caramel espresso martini) and beers (Bristol Hefe, Hiver and so on), this is a lovely venue. Apparently during the week, they also have live music downstairs.

Amazing pies - perfect crust, not soggy at all, moist but not overly wet filling, coming in great variety (rabbit, venison, steak and ale, etc). Very friendly service, great list of cocktails, cheesy music - perfect combination for a chilled Sunday lunch. We ended up staying 3 hours!

This restaurant is consistently spot on. The Menu is great, and it is always well executed. Reliable service, although nothing to write home about. Good drink selection (read: good beers), and above all very good value. Local favourite.
