Quinta Bar and Grill

We regularly visit Quinta and the standard was as good as normal, if not better. The restaurant was busy and has a good vibe. The menu has changed slightly but the quality was good, as was the Portuguese wine. A great night, local and consistently good!!

We were warmly welcomed as always. The food was fine as was the service. We were disappointed that during our meal a young waiter proceeded to not only clear the tables in our section of the restaurant of those who had finished and left but also sprayed and cloth wiped all those tables around us while we were still eating. Antiseptic spray is not an ideal condiment. This had never happened to us before at Quinta. Not wishing to cause upset on Valentine's Day I did not say anything to Diego at the time - rather presuming, correctly, that the visit would be subject to just this form of survey, as it has in the past and feedback would take place.

Always a good restaurant. Warm, friendly and easily accessible within Ilkley. Most importantly, the food quality is good and wine a reasonably price and good quality Always a favourite

Excellent as always. The quality of food is always good and the owner approachable and good company. Wine prices are reasonable and the standard is good- especially Portuguese wine. A good night out

The food is always high quality and is one of our favourite places to go to on impulse. I reverted to the normal beef in pastry which is always good. Maybe the early bird menu needs freshening up as it hasn’t changed significantly for a while On our night the restaurant was quiet but the owner is a good host

A wet Thursday afternoon, sitting under the hailstones, was as exciting as it has been during lockdown. Thankfully the excellent food and wine made the day special as always Always a recommendation in Ilkley

A little bit noisy (not used to it during lockdown) and shame random drinkers were sitting with people eating

Had a lovely Christmas lunch with a friend. Tempura prawns excellent starter and a perfect Christmas dinner. Very relaxed atmosphere and brilliant value for the quality of the food. Lovely touch of handmade chocolates as we left. Will be back soon!

I celebrated my son's 21 st birthday party here. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond to make the event extra special and memorable. The food was beautifully served and had real taste. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves so a very Big thank you to Quinta.

Lovely charming place, great food and the service was fantastic! Ate from the 2/3 course menu and was definitely value for money. Overall I’d say I had a great meal and would visit again for sure.

Delicious meal at Quinta last night. Lovely small independent restaurant with a nice ambience. I’ve never ordered beef Wellington before in a restaurant before as always think it will be a let down but decided to after seeing one of the neighbouring tables’ food. Wasn’t disappointed. Food cooked to order fresh and v v tasty. Small well thought out menu with a touch of Portuguese flair e.g tempura octopus tentacle to start. Fish dishes looked tasty too although we stuck to beef and lamb. Desserts were also to die for - Hubbie had chocolate fondant with cherry sorbet and I had vanilla parfait with home made jelly and marinated strawberries with mint. So fresh and zingy. Really pleased we tried this hidden gem will definitely return.
