Been here twice now for pre playhouse meal. Very welcoming owner. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Good service. We had the early bird menu which is great value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.

There was going to be four of us but one was feeling poorly ... all this was last minute but no problem. Food was good and wine very nice .. second visit in a week.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Superb chef turns out first class food. Excellent roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with all the trimmings. Really good value and a lovely, relaxing ambience.

Excellent food (Duck and Chorizo Risotto, Beef Wellington and Roast Pigeon). Fairly priced wine list; we had an excellent Dao. Friendly, welcoming and efficient service.

Great food, very comfortable atmosphere, at a reasonable price. What more could we ask for? Unusually for us, all six of us were happy with every course. It's a bit of a trek for us all, but we'll be back!

Wonderful night out, lovely food accompanied by excellent service. With the number of restaurants in Ilkley the competition is fierce however I can happily say that this place features very near the top.

Lovely atmosphere, had the tempura prawns to start which were fantastic followed by the Vension fillet from the special menu. The meat was cooked perfectly and very tender, asked to swap the roasted parsnip as I don’t like it, which was no problem at all! At the end of the meal the waiting staff brought a free shot and plate of homemade fudge for my birthday - a great finishing touch and felt very looked after throughout the night. We will definitely return!

Good service. Comfortable surroundings. Food was beautifully cooked and nicely presented. It is a good venue for lunch. Haven't been there in the evening but no reason to believe it wouldn't be just as good.

An exceptional dining experience. The service was impeccable, not rushed. The food was exceptionally good, steak cooked to perfection. Our friends were impressed too and will visit again.

The food and service were excellent, the staff were friendly and our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our evening. This was our sixth visit and I've never been disappointed!

We had a fantastic Sunday roast, as always. The beef was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables. Great Yorkshire puddings and the soufflés are out of this world. Thoroughly recommend Quinta!

Manager and staff all approachable- high quality of food. Wine prices very acceptable with excellent range of Portugese wines. Will definitely return again in near future

We enjoyed our meal at Quinta. The food was excellent, however the rack of lamb, though tender was not very warm. If anything the meat portion was too large. If you want vegetables you really need to order sides as there were few with the main dish. The service was excellent and the seating arrangement comfortable. As with many restaurants in the evening, it became very noisy, making conversation a challenge - this could have been because we were sitting next to the big window with the sound bouncing back.

It was a busy night last Friday, but the service was as good as ever and we were not left lingering over plates. The goats cheese & beetroot is a marriage made in heaven; absolutely delicious, as was the lamb. The only problem is decisions; what to choose from the various menu options. We'll be back soon.

Excellent meal and service as always. This is one of the nicest restaurants in a town with many good places to eat. We always enjoy an evening here.

Very good, friendly service, comfortable surroundings with tasty food. Somewhat limited menu and a little pricey. Had lunch menu but would go again to try the a la carte.

Delicious food! The early bird menu is great value. The staff are courteous & very helpful. They are good at accommodating specific dietary requirements too. Couldn't fault it really.

I love this place. It's independent, friendly, with great service. The food and drink is excellent, varied and good value . What more can you want?

Fabulous food and wine. Great service and lovely atmosphere. A taste of the real Portugal in Ilkley. The speciality soufflés are amazing, definitely not to be missed.

The food is great - the menu is not as huge as in some places, but what they cook they cook really well. The service is spot on, and the restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, with some background music but not intrusive. It manages to have an intimate feeling even though it's open plan - they have not tried to cram in too many tables. Not cheap but not expensive either for the best eating.

Lovely food and service. Plenty of GF options for my wife to enjoy her birthday meal. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this Restaurant.

Excellent, very original Portuguese style food served in a friendly courteous atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you're ever over in Ilkley, comes highly recommended

The food portions were very small. I found out from the owner that he was using a guest chef from the Box Tree that night so maybe he thought he was producing a taster menu!! My wife had a scallop starter in Quinta 4 weeks ago and got 3 scallops on the plate. On Saturday she had one scallop cut in half!! Our guests both had sea bass with the fillet cut into 3 and it was the equivalent size of one large fish finger. Whilst there was no doubting the quality of the food we walked out still hungry and feeling a little bit cheated. I am not sure we would rush back!!

Excellent meal with good service. Interesting and varied menu which was well served. The restaurant is well decorated and has a Portuguese flavour in its wine and some of its food.

Great food, excellent table service without being intrusive, and I felt good value. The salmon starter and beef main course was delicious. I will certainly visit again

We went for the set lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it with a lovely glass of Portuguese red wine. We will be going back. We have been a la carte in the past and again thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great service as well. Top marks not given simply because the sweets although nice are not of the same high quality.

Excellent service and food. If we're ever in the area again we will certainly return. We were there on a Monday night but can imagine a wonderful atmosphere on a weekend night. Maybe a change of music would help on a quiet night!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS...........................cannot recommend highly enough and we cant to go back for another visit for an evening meal. Food, ambience, service, value for money.............all second to none.

4 of us dined, the service, food, and attention to detail was faultless, all the food was nice and hot, the seabass was melt in the mouth.Will vist again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch today, as always. The French onion soup was superb as was the roast beef and all the trimmings and the salmon was beautifully cooked. We love the relaxed ambiance at Quinta and the service is excellent. Lovely restaurant.

An interesting menu, lovely food, welcoming staff, all in a pleasing environment. The lunch deal is good value. We just wish other customers wouldn't make so much noise with their booming or piercing voices. We could hardly hear each other in conversation. That's not the fault of the restaurant, I just hope the loud people read this and tone it down next time.

Had lunch here on a Saturday - great food , great service, good value lunch deal. Good central location, nice modern interior, would recommend to anyone coming to Ilkley.

What is they to say? Liked the ambience, the food. The waiters were friendly. Granted the prices were a little steep but sometimes you pay extra for that added sophistication.

Relaxed atmosphere at lunch, very good food and hospitality. Good value for money, food definitely of a high quality. Would definitely go again and recommend.

An absolutely lovely meal, as always. The starter, of Stilton gnocchi in a cream sauce, was to die for! Shame we didn't have room for any of the delicious sounding desserts, so no starter next time!

A very enjoyable evening with excellent food and good service. The smoked haddock chowder was the best I have had since visiting New England many years ago. All the dishes were well-presented and dishes intended to be hot we're just that, hot... but the freshness of the ingredients so apparent. Other diners were clearly also enjoying their experience. Only very slight negative was that the background music is atmospheric but sometimes just a little too loud & having to speak louder to each other. Quinta has a good chef In its kitchen and the front of house management is also good and welcoming.

Quinta has been my favourite Ilkley restaurant for some time. The food is varied and well presented, the staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. It gets my vote every time.

Food was excellent, and service was good if a little slow as there were only 6 people in at the time, but we have no complaints about that as we enjoyed drinks and conversation. Our compliments to the Chef! We hope to go again.

Lovely restaurant and excellent food. Food could be faster coming out but the server brought complimentary nibbles before we noticed to grumble. Well judged! Would recommend.

Great friendly staff. Good food and excellent atmosphere. Will be going back after our first visit. The early bird menu was also a great idea. Complimentary truffles for my partner whose bday it was, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A really great place to eat, good wine list, exciting menu choices, very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. We will return when we are next in Ilkley.

We've been to Quinta several times over the last couple of years and it's always lovely. It has an excellent menu, which makes deciding what to have very hard! As ever, we had a beautiful meal last night and the service was excellent.

The overall experience was good. We tried the pork & apple tortellini & pan-fried hake from their specials, which were great. The service was a little bit slow becos they were quite busy on Friday night.

Brilliant lunch. We were able to mix and match the menu which was great. The sauces on all the courses I had were brilliant. However I would not choose the pineapple tart tatan. The pastry was under cooked and the tart was sat in a bowl of sauce. The sauce was brilliant but made everything soggy. Good day out though and would go again without hesitation.
