Great potential, but the waiters could be more careful and we had to wait 45 minutes to have some food. Starters were served after the main course...

Delicious, great service & nice nans. The atmosphere was also very good. Good variety of dishes but the lamb was slightly tough so perhaps could be better.

We had a lovely meal at Qumins. Despite being a table of 9 (a group of 2 families) the staff were very attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty, I especially enjoyed my Balti dish.

Food excellent and good choice with some unusual dishes, would definitely recommend. The only reason I have not given a six is that we felt slightly rushed with courses being served too quickly one after another. Although a strange thing to comment on, the waiter service was just a bit too thorough with any empty plates and glasses being taken away while we were still eating. Was a bit rushed.

Lovely restaurant with good choice on the menu. Food was tasty and well presented. Waiter was very accommodating as stayed open for us a while longer at lunch time.

Chicken liver starter was wonderful! The main courses were great and the banana fritter rounded things off nicely!

We had a lovely meal in Qumins on Sunday evening. The staff are friendly and the food was brilliant! We had two fish curries which were delightful!

The restaurant is a little gem, it has attentive but not overly intrusive staff, knowledgeable about their menu and able to tweak on menu dishes to suit your own taste. The menu is not standard Tikka masala and naan bread but interesting variations and beautifully presented. I would thoroughly recommend for a romantic dinner or a group of friends.

We found this place on line and ate there twice during our stay in Oxford. Friendly staff and good food. Highly recommend you try it!

Superb restaurant. The food is of high quality and the service is brilliant. Staff are very friendly, the restaurant is warm and accommodating. We travel to Oxford on a few times a year and we always return.

Excellent food, friendly service. My only slight criticism is that business was slow on a Monday night and they made it clear they wanted us out, not in anything they said, but dishes were cleared before we finished eating and the table cleared and the bill brought as soon as the last fork hit the plate. It would have been nice to feel a little less rushed.

Service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. Staff very helpful and food was tasty. Food portions were on the small side however well priced.

We are regular visitors to Quimins .The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Delicious! The vegetarian food was excellent, I didn't try the meat and fish based ones but my friends really enjoy them. The service was friendly and efficient. I recommend it.

Was a lovely restaurant with delicious food and great service ! I ordered tandoori grill which was lovely and an onion bhaji very fresh and tasty . Definitely will go back .

My guest and I started our meal with the usual poppadoms and pickles and ordered a chicken dish each, two types of rice and a garlic naan. The waiter came to check twice if we had finished the poppadoms. I got the distinct impression that he was getting anxious. However, when he cleared the plates away, our main course was on the table almost immediately. Disappointingly, it was almost cold. Had it been sitting in the kitchen ready to be served. The manager offered to reheat it for us, which was already on our plates. Presumably it was reheated (well almost) by microwaving. My friend and I really couldn't be bothered to complain again. The waited seemed to be more interested in a party of eight people.... We ate, paid the bill and left after a very disappointing evening which we had looked forward to for several weeks. Unfortunately for them, we will not be returning.

Service was fine - just the vegetarian dishes we had weren't particularly tasty. I'm Indian and I expected more flavour from the dishes. I have heard it used to be better.
