Rancho Steakhouse Poole

As always - perfectly cooked and delicious steaks served at Rancho and the Caribbean ribs were very tasty too. The service was attentive and prompt considering the restaurant was so busy. We’ll be back.

Excellent evening in a nice environment, with friendly staff. The food was well cooked and all meat was very tender and there was plenty of it.

Delicious food and they put up with me and my partner being quite late! A great place for my birthday celebrations. Service was also excellent.

staff brilliant, bit of a mix up over starters more my fault ordering 2 starters as a main!! sorted out very quickly, Son left his birthday cards and the restaurant owner ran and caught us up! fantastic atmosphere will go again!!

It took over an hour to get our food served, when it did turn up I had to send my fillet steak back as I couldn’t cut through it even with a steak knife. Our food tasted burnt, presumably the grill needed cleaning. The price was astronomical. £5.95 for 5 pieces of overcooked asparagus. Outrageous to charge miller and Carter prices for poor quality food. One of the waiters who served us clearly didn’t want to be there and just slammed our food on the table. The bill came to £153.50 for four people having 2 starters, 4 steaks and soft drinks. Outrageous.

Food is fabulous and good ambiance, unfortunately Everytime I have been it is the service that lets it down. Over 90 minutes to be served food, was with a party of people and we had to serve and get our own drinks due to waiting so long! Such a shame as staff great but not enough of them to cope! Everytime same.

Great services food was yummy will enjoy going again . I couldn't eat al my main meal of ribs but they bagged it up for me to take home so enjoyed next day

Food is outstanding - never had steak like it anywhere! We had a little wait (due to the busyness of Valentine's) and we had a group of 6. But that wasn't an issue as it was definitely worth waiting for!

Staff were welcoming, polite and helpful, food as tasty as ever. Even though it was a cold, February midweek evening, there was a buzz of people when we arrived, which is nice.

We felt that the side dishes were too large and overpriced. As a new customer we had no idea of portion size and due to this we over ordered and consequently food was wasted. We have also had better fillet steak elsewhere.

Very nice food , well presented , good temperature, didn't wait long , all in all had a lovely meal with 4 friends , we have booked again

Great food and good service. It was Sunday evening so not too busy. Party of four. One of the steaks had a bit of gristle, but more than enough on the plates... Couldn't finish it all.

Had a sirloin, that was good, salad on the side was a bit pants. Had a extra peppercorn sauce which wasn’t nice at all. Also it was expensive. Overall, I most probably wouldn’t come again nor recommend you. Your more than welcome to get in touch with me. Josh.kbrewer@icloud.com

The ribs were a little dry on this occasion but this was not normal. We have great meals from rancho before and will go again in the future.

Fantastic food at a great price an the bonus is the discount of Magicard. Great service too. One of my favourite haunts and a must for any self respecting carnivore!!!

Great food and service only fault was my partner did not want dressing on her salad and it turned up with dressing twice they took it away and sorted so all good

Excellent food and service and very friendly staff. Nice venue and the steaks were cooked to perfection. There is also a good choice of side dishes.

Great food but took 2 hours after arrival to get served mains when we had booked a table a week in advance. Had to send food back, served wrong drinks and were generally forgotten about waiters throughout the evening.

It must be good to be busy on a Wednesday. Nice restaurant plenty of space between tables, and good service. Our party of three all opted for the filet steak and it was a great choice, well cooked, juicy with a superb taste. All in all it was a nice evening and meal full marks to Rancho's Poole.

Ribs with BBQ sauce were not crispy and were cold. Child's chicken nuggets and chips tasted very different. Service slow despite restaurant being fairly empty

Warm welcome and spacious round table for the six of us. Enjoyed 5 different meals between us and all were well presented with generous proportions. All freshly prepared and very tasty. Empty plates all round. Always a good sign! One of the best meals we've had.

Whenever I visit Poole I always go to rancho steakhouse and I have never been disappointed with the food or the staff. For me it would be nice to have smaller meals for those of us that do not have big appetite.

We were well looked after and given time to make our choices without being rushed. The food and presentation was excellent. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME : ) THANK YOU.

Friendly staff, great service. Very quick to be served. Great menu choices and the Food was excellent as always! Only downside was not offered deserts, but overall...excellent!

Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere coupled with excellent service. Steaks were cooked to perfection and had a moorish flavour, side orders were OK. Meals were served hot as everything is cooked to order. If you like good grub and somewhere special to eat Ranchos Poole is the place.

Food and service was fantastic. Best steak I've had in years. Felt full at the end and we were last to leave but no pressure to leave. Looking forward to going again soon!!

Great food and good service had a good overall experience and it is overlooking Poole Quay so good views as well ..... just lucky to live in such a beautiful place

We have been before and had the most amazing steak, this time the 'fillet' was tough and personally over cooked for a medium, also a hair in the food didn't help, however staff replaced it straight away

Fantastic! Easily the best steak I've had outside the USA. Great service too. The only downside was the 4 potty-mouthed blokes that arrived at the next table - however, the restaurant staff were more than happy to relocate us and it's a big restaurant!
