Rangrez - Hammersmith

The food here is the most delicious Indian cuisine in London. It’s a petite place and the service is a bit patchy, but it’s all worth it for the quality and taste of the dishes. Do not hesitate to book in here!

Three of us went having never been before. I’ve had loads of curries and I have to say Rangrez was very very good! The food was excellent. The vibe was laid back and welcoming and the staff were attentive and considerate. We already agreed we’d be going back in the next few weeks.

Great restaurant with excellent food, good ambience and friendly waiters

My friend and I reckon our meals were the best we'd had in an Indian restaurant for some time. We're already looking forward to another concert at the Apollo so we can dine at Rangrez again!

We enjoyed a lovely tasty meal at Rangrez prior to going to the Apollo. Service was great, and our food arrived very swiftly. There is definitely a need to book at Rangrez, as the restaurant is not large, and it is very popular, we were the first people in and watched the place fill up.

We were a bit rushed at the end due to our starters not having arrived in time, and then having to bunch up our starters and mains in order to make the show we had tickets for. Nevertheless, this happens. It's a great restaurant, with excellent food and friendly service.

Really good restaurant - only slight disappointment was the menu seemed much smaller as far as number of options than what is online although what we had was very tasty. Also it is understandably very popular and with pre-theatre diners that are inevitable always in a hurry and think they could perhaps do with more staff to help with that.

Great Indian food. Limited menu (always a good sign) expertly cooked with excellent service. Perfect location for theatre events either before or after.

Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere. My wife and I booked an early dinner at Rangrez. We turned up a little earlier than planned, a warm greeting was followed by one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in a long time. The starters were delicious, equally matched by the main dishes. We ended the meal with a couple of cheeky desserts which were on a par with the rest of the courses. Overall can’t rate this restaurant highly enough.

One goes for the food not the atmosphere, which was of the highest standard as ever. Slightly chaotic service, but very well meaning and caring.

Delicious. Friendly. Personal service and attention to detail in the kitchen. Close to Hammersmith Tube and Hammersmith Apollo. Recommended.

The service was poor eg the waiter mistakenly gave us garlic nan then snatched it away in the middle of our meal. The waitress looked annoyed when we asked for ice. The portions were small and expensive. The restaurant was gloomy. The food ok-salmon tikka starter was burnt and oily.

Superb food and great service. We booked for 5pm and had plenty of time to relax before our show at the Lyric as it's very close by. Highly recommended.

Simply delicious food bursting with heavenly spices. The Fish Pakora just melted in my mouth. No Meat March had me opting for China Masala but next time I’m coming back for the Chicken Co-Co 😍

Very poor. Food like mush. Okay if you do not have teeth. Told it was down to being from a certain part of India. Not impressed

Firstly we were running late due to traffic so phoned them and they said , don't worry your table is still ok . after more traffic holdups and parking called them again, and they were still fine about our lateness finally arrived and the waiter service was very polite and quick and to top it all the food was fabulous. Top notch place for a meal out .

The food was good, but more expensive than expected, and we were charged for a bottle of wine we didn’t order - I hope this was a genuine mistake.

A rather small choice on the menu e.g. no mushroom Bhaji or Mushroom rice and no Chicken Dhansak - my personal fav. but what we had was very good. Good service and handy location. Will go again

First time to this restaurant! Anyway we got seated straight away but they took a very long time to take drinks order but then they came at all different times instead all together! Then we had to wait a good 30 minutes to order food and then that time another 50 minutes to come to our table. The food is very good and cooked great also tasty 😋. I would come back and recommend it to people 👍
