Relish Real Burgers - St Albans

Easy to book, staff were friendly and efficient, meal was delicious. It's a consistently good service here, Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again Maria

Our food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. The burgers aren't expensive and we got our food really quickly after order! Unfortunately, our waitress wasn't very patient and seemed to be a bit unmotivated.

Nice burgers, a bit quiet though as it was 1800 and it's a little off the beaten track by the arena. We just missed the 20% off as we got in at 1750, but by the time we ordered it was 1805 which was a bit annoying...but generally a nice experience.

Been here a couple of times now. Excellent service as usual. Food as always to a very high standard and arrived at the table quickly. Kids love the games and toys to play with.

Wasn't too busy but the food was great, service was spot on, didn't have to wait too long and above all it was very tasty!

Good food and great idea to offer the 'early bird' prices! That was a treat! Especially liked the strawberry milkshake served in the milk bottle.

Great restaurant lovely food. Ideal for pre theatre dinner. Can be abut of a delay before theatre but food arrived in good time so we were not late.

Great presentation of food and drink- kids loved selection of board games too. Service very good as well, staff very helpful and attentive. Prices good.

The ketchup bottle was dirty and we had to ask to have it cleaned before we could use it otherwise the food was well cooked and very nicely presented and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive

Good place in an excellent location but burger was poor to the point of being inedible. Over cooked meat and the sauce had congealed into the bun. Onions vile.

The most delicious burgers in St Albans and such a lovely atmosphere for a family. Very reasonably priced and my son enjoyed the games n the food! Will be going again and again

It's a really lovely restaurant. Great service, nice food. We've been there a number of times and never had anything less than a really good experience.

A polite and courteous team. Good food and a good level of service. Personally recommend the Big Fat Greek Burger. Would eat there again most definitely.

Amazing friendly staff who made us and the children very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food arrived exactly as everyone had ordered and staff knew who ordered what - impressive as we were a group of 9. All meals were delicious and games for the children made it an excellent evening out.

We visited Relish Real Burgers last week for a dinner with two children. The staff were really welcoming and after finding it was our first time there they explained that there is a games corner and children are welcome to get some games from there. They did, and they brought some games to the table which made waiting for food seem really short and pleasant. The children were busy playing whilst the adults chatted and after eating we all shared a board game whilst having our coffees/milkshakes. The only reason the score is not 6/6 is that the food could have been better. The burgers were rather cold (we didn't mind that much but I know some people who would!). All considered , we will be back. The kids loved it! And we had a great evening together.

Great tasty burgers and deserts, attentive staff, , St Albans only run the brunch menu so book at potters bar if you like the additional menu options on their website

Fab burger place. The staff are very friend and professional The food was fantastic. I had the yanky. Only problem was it was too big to fit my mouth around lol. So I bit mad but I ate it with a knife and fork. Milkshakes are amazing especially the Nutella one.

Burgers were okay but just that really. There wasn't a great selection and the lighting was very bright. Very nice staff but the burger was average

Had a lovely meal at Relish in St Albans. Had a gluten free burger with a gluten free bun. Even the fries were gluten free. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Great food very tasty, lovely presentation will certainly be back staff were very friendly and accommodating. Spoilt for choice for burgers, sides and desserts. Enjoyable experience

Great food and service. We ordered the halloumi stack, classic burger and chicken stack between 2 of us. Plus sides of apple and beetroot slaw (definitely recommend) and fries. Food was delicious, although there was too much really but we wanted to try everything. Total bill came to less than £35 including one regular and one alcoholic shake. Great place to take children - very family friendly, with board games and puzzles for you to play at your table. We will definitely be going back!

Kids love this place!!! And they kindly adapted the chicken burger for me to be low-carb. Its in a perfect location for our Arena visits, we'll be back soon

The food was brilliant and service was polite and fast but not rushed. Only issue was they didn't seen to know we had a reservation, this didn't really matter though as we were seated straight away.

Great burgers but the service wasn't good on this occasion. I waited a long time to be served (and had to beckon someone over) and then had to ask for my drinks order three times.

Great burgers and good service. Only had mains as they were really substantial! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Really convenient for the Arena afterwards. Would definitely go again.

Excellent service and quality of food, Burgers are not our usual choice but these were excellent some of the best we have tasted. Restaurant was rather noisy but that is down to clientele. Will definitely return

Creative selection of toppings for the burgers, tremendous hard shakes and the kids' menu gives them some really good choices that are keeping in line with the main menu.

The staff made extra an effort to give me daughter a dairy free dessert due to her food allergies. The food came quickly even though we were told there could be a wait and the kids loved their meals.

Good service, lovely environment with helpful and attentive staff. However, as a vegetarian, the choices were limited and I was disappointed with my main meal. On the plus side, my meat eating companions enjoyed their burgers. The desserts were delicious, but defeated all of us, as they are enormous portions! Overall a positive experience.

Lovely people and great burgers would highly recommend a visit, great place to eat before going to the St Albans arena. Great food, great prices!!!!!!!

Friday 16th December The meal was very enjoyable,food was hot and we didn't have to wait too long,staff very friendly and helpful ,very good value for money,would recommend

It's the run up to Christmas and there was 19 of us on one table including 9 children, so quite a handful for the guys at Relish, a pre-Panto lunch. The staff were fantastic and attended to the children as well as the adults. The food arrived quickly and uniformly for all the diners and the standard of food was absolutely fantastic. We were well attended to during the entire 2 hour lunch and I would recommended this restaurant to any foodie, the presentation was great and a bit quirky and the flavours were fabulous, get yourselves down to Relish at your next opportunity

Great service, food is tasty and good value for money but decor looking a bit tired....needs a spring clean but will definitely going back soon.

One of the best burgers I have EVER tasted... but the ketchup was 'off' and exploded when I opened it, therefore spoiling the overall experience.

My burger wasn't served on a plate, so when the egg broke the yoke went all over the table, everything else was great and we had a really nice meal, service was great!!

Excellent food and good value. The Service was very friendly. The Early Bird meal offer for orders before 6pm was also a good offer. Reservation was easy.

Amazing food and great service. Such a relaxed environment. Love that there's a box of board games you can play at the table while you wait for your food. Great healthy kids meals.

Got a table at very short notice. Excellent food as always. Did have to wait a while for the bill, but assuming that was because the waiting staff didn't hear us ask for it the 1st time. Would recommend

Staff were in experienced and didn't list to order correctly Therefore getting it wrong However a Young boy was very good at resolving the problem!

Had a Fabulous meal, the staff where friendly. The food was reasonably priced and if a very high standard.I would definitely recommend Relish to my friends and family .
