Food was good and well prepared. Service was timely allowing relaxed progress to our theatre performance. This meets the 25-word requirement from our 16-word comment.

The food was lovely, with a good menu choice. Attentive & good service with a polite and friendly waiter. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly welcome and good cleanliness.

Lovely food, atmosphere and service. All very relaxed and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and showed genuine interest in the customer. Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

The venue was a bit cool and the service slow to start then really quick The food was amazing I had lobster parcels delicious we also had salmon pasta pizza and chicken all fabulous Great value for money as well If you are going early evening in the winter wrap up relax and enjoy I don’t think you will be disappointed

The food and service was average small portions I would say and the waiter never smiled once but it was edible and the place clean enough Wouldn’t go back any time soon though

Really like this restaurant, lovely and modern, great service, always been made to feel very welcome. The food is delicious. Also great to listen to the Italian music!! Anyone who enjoys Italian Food should definitely visit Rigaton's

Very pleasant and ideal for pre theatre dinner as very close to theatre. Pre theatre menu adequate and food very good. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Very nice food and quick friendly service. Menu selection was reasonably wide to cater for different tastes and everything tasted freshly made. Soup and pasta giardino specially good. Capuccino I had to follow was delicious. Well done to all!

Great little restaurant minutes away from the Kings Theatre. Good pre theatre menu and attentive staff. We didn’t have much time before our show at the Kings but were able to eat without rushing befor it started. Would definitely go back

This is a stylish and up to date restaurant ideally situated for a pre-theatre meal. The set menu provided a reasonable range of options and the dishes were tasty and well presented. We would go again if attending the King's Theatre.

We enjoyed our meal very much and the service was very friendly and efficient. We had one complaint, which we relayed to the waitress. Online the pre-dinner menu claimed you could have a two course meal comprising any of the 3 courses, starter, main or dessert however the only combination available on the night was starter and main. We had all pre chosen mains and desserts. The waitress said they were aware of this and needed to update the website but didn't make any attempt to uphold the website offer.

The food was delicious, drinks choice is extensive and water was served in a carafe with glasses served with ice.....all very enjoyable. The decor and atble settings are smart and clean. However, the service was haphazard. We had to order one of the drinks a second time, the first glass of prosecco served was flat, warm and unpleasant to taste. Although a replacement, acceptable glass was brought without question. One of our party (6) had to wait quite for his main course for quite a while after all others were served. As we were going to the theatre, we booked in advance for 5pm and felt rushed to have a drink, starter and main course before having to leave to be on time for the show.

Great food and service. Superb value for money. Goats cheese with honey starter was to die for. Without doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Edinburgh

An. Excellent pre-theatre supper, good choice for all ages, efficient and pleasant waiting staff serving tasty food. We will return when going to the Kings Theatre nearby.

We were a bit late for eating before the theater but the staff were very keen to make sure we were served in time and made a special effort. The food was excellent and really genuine. Definitely be thinking of Rigatoni's for the future whether going to a show or not.

Modern stylish decor, good for and attentive but not overbearing staff. It was quite quiet in the restaurant when I was there which probably accounted for me thinking that the background music was a tad loud.

The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back to this restaurant again.

Food and service excellent. Very pleasant environment. I would certainly come again and recommend Rigatoni by the Kings to friends and colleagues. We had a very nice meal which was very good value.

Great service and food was amazing. This is not a typical Italian with a massive menu, more a selection of well chosen, and equally well executed range of fresh fish, meat, pizza and pasta dishes. There were a couple of fish specials with one of our party raving about it when he had his. Definitely will be back.

This is the second time I've visited and had pre-theatre menu before heading to the Kings. Very welcoming - lovely food, the service is perfect and great value.

We walked out after 15mins! Initially we were welcomed very warmly and showed to a table by the bar. We were not given any menus or had a drinks order taken, which we thought odd but presumed our server would be back in a few minutes to deal with both. After watching two tables that arrived after us being served, two pre-theatre menus were thrust at us as they we taken from another couple. We were not there for the pre-theatre menu nor were we offered a look at the full a la carte menu. After a further 5 mins of watching staff come back and forth to the bar (where we were in clear view) we got up and left taking our £50 business elsewhere. Very poor

The food was delicious and staff really friendly. The service was very good as we were going to the Theatre afterwards it came in plenty time for us to make it to the theatre.

Good food, nice staff. Lovely place to eat and handy for pre theatre dinner. Good value for money. Were very able to cater for coeliac meals even on pre theatre menu.

Smart, contemporary Italian restaurant. Modern Italian food however still includes favourites such as pizza and pasta. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I would happily recommend.
