A Brilliant Italian restaurant with beautiful food ran by a very nice family. The bruschetta is unbelievably nice ! We are yet to taste better Italian food in Edinburgh.
We had pre-theatre menu. It was served so quickly after order that I can't believe it was cooked fresh. Carbonara was so thick with cream it was sickly, and bacon pieces hard. Service was ok
No seabass even though there were at least three seabass choices on the menu. Food average. Waiting staff friendly and prices reasonable. Wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
ok and convenient, quick service..rich food ,a bit too rich for me but fine, we had the pre theatre menu and decent choice I felt.
They were very welcoming and the food was of the highest standard. Also using the pre-theatre menu made the meal much more affordable even with an expensive bottle of wine
Best pizza I have even had. Service was good aswell. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch (pizza past and the king burger). My daughter lover her pizza and they put pepperoni on her magarita pizza. Will definately be back.
Food was lovely, a cut above your typical Italian restaurant. The staff were so friendly and attentive, a delightful evening We will definitely be going back
We had a lovely evening with delicious food and friendly helpful staff. A really tasty meal, we will definitely be back again. Thank you very much
Great meal here after the panto. Friendly welcoming staff and delicious pizzas. The one with pesto goats cheese , sun dried tomatoes and rocket was particularly good and a refreshing change from usual pizza combinations. Highly recommend.
It took an hour to get 4 plain pizzas and the waiter didn't seem to think this was a problem. He was quite rude telling us we had not been waiting that long and that we had plenty time. Would not go back or recommend.
Great food, quick service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Perfect pre theatre stop off for a relaxed bite to eat. We will be back again.
We were given a warm welcome and a nice table by the window. The staff were extremely pleasant and the service fast but not rushed. The food was excellent and the cost very reasonable. Altogether an experience that we will certainly wish to repeat.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.. They even kept us up to speed about when the theatre was due to start!! The pre theatre menus were at our places before we arrived. The food was quickly made.. All very fresh and delicious. The wine too.. A very nice Sauvignon blanc was also delicious.. We wil return especially as it is very nearby our home... Many thanks for a great start to a very very pleasant and enjoyable evening
Brilliant service lovely delish food just up from the kings so really handy staff very attentive great place to go when you are going to the kings
Family of 5 for festivel meal, very nice setting. Great choice on the set menu and good value. High quality food served. Would recommend and will be back.
Excellent pre-theatre menu with a good choice of Italian-style dishes. Only disappointment was no cheesecake available. Cost was also reasonable at £17.95 for three courses.
Loved the food & the pre theatre menu was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly & accommodating but I found that the drink prices very expensive.
Friendly, cheerful restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. Only been open for a year and this was fitst visit but it will now be a part of any visit to the Kings theatre.
Really nice food and very good service. The pre-theatre menu has a good range and we had a lovely meal before going to a show.
drinks a nit expensive but food and service impeccable. we had pre theatre menu which was quite nice. portion size was adequate so left feeling full but not bloated
The food was excellent. It was a pity that after all the pre-theatre diners left the restaurant was almost empty and a bit soul-less even on a Friday night.
restaurant excellent position for theatre. choice of menu and pre theatre menu choice was great. Price of food reasonable. When food arrived nicely presented and delicious. Very attentive friendly staff. Worth a visit.
Excellent food friendly service could not fault anything and so convenient for the king's theatre will definitely use again and would recommend without hesitation. The pre theatre menu had a very good selection and a reasonable price
The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The pre-theatre menu was reasonably priced and had a lot of choice. Will definitely be back.
This restaurant serves quality Italian food that's well worth the price. The decor is sleek and modern and the service is friendly and welcoming. We've been there for a pre-theatre meal and a later, relaxing dinner.
Excellent value. Good food, friendly attentive staff and not stupidly expensive. Been twice and it's been equally good on both occasions it has a decent wine list
Had a fabulous meal at Rigatoni's By the King's before an event at the King's Theatre. Great authentic Italian food with nice wine selection and reasonable prices. Loved my ravioli and looking forward to my next visit!
The restaurant was lovely but we thought it was very overpriced particularly the wine, £24 for a bottle of sauvignon blanc ! In addition my partner wanted chips with his meal and the restaurant didn't have any which is unheard of. The portion sizes were also very small and you would have to order side portions to make the meal satisfying which adds to the cost.
Very disappointing experience. Main course portion was starter size and was mainly tomato sauce and pasta with little meat. Not worth £10.95. Friend accompanying me agreed.
It was lovely food but very expensive. I had looked on their website and seen they had a lunch menu that looked reasonable but we were not offered this when we arrived. £43 for 2 main meals, a sparkling water, latte and some side salad was very expensive in my opinion.
Efficient service. Clean surroundings. Calamari starter slightly chewy but pizza main was good. Buffalo mozzarella and tomato starter & Lasagne main were both very good
Excellent. As a starter we had bruschetta and the antipasto misto. Really fresh ingredients. Everything was very tasty. The mains were also delicious. The risotto al bosco was very impressive: the mushrooms were actually fresh! Not some dried stuff. Highly recommended!
Booked a table for four after reading all the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. Food was fabulous, everyone enjoyed their meal and the clean plates were testament. Staff were excellent, attentive, friendly and courteous. Will certainly be returning to Rigatoni's again.
Friendly and attentive staff, serving good quality Italian food. Surroundings are modern, so perhaps lacking a little authentic Italian charm. Will certainly return for more of the lobster ravioli!
Really good restaurant, lovely interior. Food fabulous and staff very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I would add is that the restaurant looked empty from the front when in fact it was quite busy further inside, so use the seats at the front more and might intice more passerbys to come in.
Really nice surroundings, great choice of menu, the service and the food were excellent!!! This was our first visit and will certainly be returning again!!!!
Really enjoyed food though calamari was a little over cooked and under seasoned. Veal was delicious and a good sized portion. Service was excellent would recommend
Food was good, but home made pasta would be better. Not many restaurants out there who do that.Overall very good experience. Very attentive and friendly staff.Worth a visit.
