Occupying the former premises of popular Alderley Edge restaurant Konak, Rokali injects a new lease of life into the town’s Turkish dining scene with premises down London Road, moments from the station leading north to Manchester, being given a full overhaul. Fresh and contemporary – the name refers to the Turkish word for rocket leaf – Rokali’s menus cover lunch, dinner and dessert. Between noon and 5pm, Friday through to Sunday, choose two courses from Rokali’s lunch menu for a great price, or book a table for a sumptuous evening feast. Turkish tradition dictates that you should order up a couple of cold or hot meze platters to share around the table before taking the plunge into mouthwatering main courses featuring vegetarian, lamb, beef, chicken and seafood dishes, many of which are cooked to perfection using Rokali’s charcoal grill.
