As always the food was excellent and service second to none. Only minor quibble is that the background music didn't seem appropriate to a Japanese restaurant; needs a more authentic feel. Regardless of this will be very happy to keep going back.

You could tell it’s was just ‘lunch’ staff didn’t seem to know what you could have. I ordered what I wanted after checking I could, only to be given a meal I couldn’t eat due to the ingredients. I was offered a replacement but with everyone else already nearly finished I went hungry. Mentioned the returned meal when the bill came and no apology, even worse I had to pay for the meal I didn’t order that could have sent me to hospital. Don’t like the new way of serving in bowls, feels like the whole restaurant is cutting corners and going cheap, very disappointed in our meal, will not go back again.

We had the tapas lunch time menu, 19.50 each for 3 dishes and a drink. The 6 dishes we had were all tasty and well presented. There was more than enough food for us to share so much so we could not manage a sweet. Service was also good. Will certainly return again.

Meal was the best I’ve had in Beverley, after so many of our friends recommending Ogino we thought we would go. We will be back it was fabulous.

We visited for our Wedding Anniversary, and couldn’t fault anything. We had a lovely meal, the service was efficient and polite, not rushed, food was delicious, and not over priced for what we got. Really nice place, would definitely recommend

Lovely visit again with friends. Again managed to eat too much but it is difficult to choose fro the extensive menu. The food was excellent. I very much enjoy the venison gyoza. I always enjoy the plum wine.
