We hadn’t been before and we loved the experience. The restaurant decor was amazing as was the food and the staff were very attentive and very helpful.

Really good service from Emilia, friendly and not too fussy but checked back a couple of times making sure we were happy with everything! Food was hot and and the chicken satay spot on, really enjoyed the Cod which flaked and was very flavoursome. Loved our visit.

This was my first, but certainly not my last visit. The choice of food was great, a bit different from the usual and very tasty. The presentation was very stylish. The desert for 4 was amazing! We loved the food, the decor and the staff were all lovely, especially Emelia. She managed the right balance of conversation and being friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Overall a really great experience.

We weren’t very impressed this evening, mainly with the salt and pepper squid, pork belly and chicken satay. The salt and pepper squid had a different batter than was stodgy, greasy and lacked flavour. There was no dipping sauce to accompany it like before. Last time we visited it was more of a tempura style batter with a alioli dip. The pork belly wasn’t glazed enough, was dry and again lacked in flavour. Lastly the chicken satay was tiny! It was a full stick of chicken and a lot saucier last time. Everything else was okay but I wouldn’t say it was worth the money this time, which is really sad for us as it’s our favourite Asian restaurant to visit when in Beverly. Unfortunately we won’t be back very quickly.

Lovely restaurant and food I’d prefer that the service charge is not automatically put on the bill. It makes you feel obliged to pay it and puts you in an awkward position. I always leave a tip but like to choose the amount myself.

Fantastic food, lovely setting and wonderful service. Ordered far too much food for the table so will know how to judge next time, but definitely will be going back. Best meal out in Beverley for a long time.

The food at this restaurant was genuinely good — balanced flavours, and well presented dishes that showed real skill in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the service. The waiting staff, though polite, seemed inexperienced and unsure of basic service etiquette. They struggled to serve wine properly and were often inattentive throughout the meal, leaving us to refill the whole bottle and ask for a dessert menu - missing small details that make a dining experience smooth. Roku has a big reputation to live up to from its predecessor Ogino who really did have the exceptional dining experience with ambience, service, presentation and quality of food.

We were at Roku last night. It was amazing. The dishes were exquisitely plated, tasted amazing and the portion was generous. The drinks were great and the staff are all friendly. I highly recommend it.

Food was incredible, staff were so lovely. The lady that showed us to our table offered to take my sopping wet umbrella before I could even ask if there was anywhere to put it. Lottie, our waitress couldn't be more helpful. The food was phenomenal. We live quite far away but will definitely be planning more trips to the area to visit again.

First time dining at Roku. Nice selection of dish choices. The food tasted amazing, different flavours, selection of food from the sea and land. Facilities were very clean and well presented, dining area beautifully decorated. Staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely return.

The Beef Tataki wasn’t a Tataki- it was under seasoned and overcooked beef in a marinade which didn’t have an awful lot of flavour. The Pork Belly and Duck were both incredibly chewy. The Fried rice and tofu were okay but certainly nothing to write home about. The Service was disappointing, for instance the food order was incorrect, after the initial drinks order no one came to get any further drink orders, and no one checked on the food until the end of the meal, it all felt a bit disorganised. Overall I’d describe it as style over substance. I wouldn’t recommend it or won’t be returning.

Great eastern inspired tapas, outstanding afternoon deal with a drink included. Amazed it wasn't busier. Highly recommended.
