An excellent dining experience. The food was first rate, as was the service. Particularly impressive was the attention to detail and the way that all the staff worked to ensure a memorable evening. With thanks to you all. We shall definitely be returning.

ambience of the restaurant is good with the tables nicely spread out. the waitresses are very knowledgable and attentive to ones needs. the food is nicely cooked and presented and can't be faulted. overall an excellent experience of japanese food.

Food was fabulous as always however there was some confusion over the bill when it arrived. We had chosen from the set lunch menu which was a set price for either 2 or 3 courses, however we seemed to be charged for our desserts which didn’t seem to be included in the set lunch menu even though we’d asked the waitress who confirmed that they were. When we queried this we were told she was “new” as if that was an excuse. We ended up paying but still thought the bill was not right.

Would definitely recommend to go there. People that work there are just amazing, kind, helpful. The meal that we’ve had was ok but wasn’t so happy about the main dish witch was pork . The meat wasn’t made as well as you would expect it to be for the price.

A lovely experience - service, surroundings and, above all, the food. Beautiful to look at and even better to eat. I can't recommend it enough.

We had not been for a while and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was fabulous so tasty and presentation you could not fault. The staff explained the menu and new what was in every dish, they were also very attentive. We will be back very soon. Thank you Ogino

Absolutely fantastic meal, brilliant service, cannot fault anything, will definitely recommend and return. Had a great table in a booth, loads of space, very relaxing meal, were not rushed at all.

Don’t be put off by the slightly unusual modern office-like entrance. Whilst not cheap, this restaurant delivers some very tasty food served by attentive, friendly and knowledgable staff.

The food and service were fabulous. My only issue is the cooking smell in the dining area, as it clings to you. Not a great smell if you are going on for a night out!!

Love this place, been here on a dozen occasions before for tea but never for lunch so thought we would give it a try. We both had the 3 course sushi lunch with miso soup and an appetiser and it was fantastic! At £16 per head I thought it was reasonably priced too! I’m sure we will be back very soon.

Yet again this restaurant lived up to its billing. This is probably my 10th visit and never fails to amaze the quality and presentation of the food. The taste is fabulous. Have introduced several of my friends to this restaurant and all have been very impressed. This time was a special occasion and 8 of us had the side room off the main restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome and special.Thanks to the Manager and all the staff.

Every time I go to Ojino's I am amazed by the food and service.. The food is great. it really like eating in a fine Japanese restaurant, so delicious, so different. Our friends shared pictures with New York. We highly recomend a visit.

We all had the duck as a starter - superb - followed by the best Chicken I've tasted in a long while. The service was extremely good and not intrusive. very reasonable priced as well.

We had good service, and good food. It is a pleasant dining area. We tried all the options, a la carte, sushi, and table d’hote menu.

Have visited Ogino's on many occasions and it never fails to deliver in terms of ambiance of restaurant the presentation and quality of food served and the personal attention given by all the staff. Is it a wonder it's my #1 place to eat and I recommend my friends and colleagues. This time rather than plumb for my usual wine to accompany the food, I chose the wine pairing listed in the menu. It was absolutely "bang on" the mark these guys really know their stuff. I have read reviews from others where remarks are made regarding price. In my book you get what you pay for and given all the above comments about a very high quality experience the price you pay is very reasonable indeed. Will return again and again and again.

From the minute we walked in we knew this place had class..... I booked Ogino for my wife's birthday and she absolutely loved the place, quite possibly our new favourite, can't wait to book again. Delicious food and excellent service.

Great restaurant. Excellent service, very good value for money and almost perfect food. The starters were amazing, we had the belly pork (the best ever) and a sharing platter (amazing). For mains we had the sea bass, pork loin and fillet steak. For desert we had creme brûlée and the trio. All were excellent. For drinks we had a bottle of house white, a house red and a red rioja. The house white was fine but I wouldn't go back for the house red. The only real let down though was that the mains were not served hot, elements of the food were on the cool side, hence not quite a rating of 5/5.

Great food and friendly efficient staff in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The whole dining experience was a pleasurable one which we all looked forward to repeating in the not too distant future.

Beautiful food, very attentive staff, great beer and a nice setting. It’s not traditional Japanese food, more a Yorkshire interpretation but still 10/10 nonetheless of course
