Really enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. Shame about the beer which let the place down.

We are regular customers now. The carvery is excellent value, the food always perfectly cooked & presented & the staff friendly & helpful.

Visited yesterday and food and service were usual high standard

Food was very nice and hot, the drinks service was a bit slow, overall we had a good time.

Carvery is one of best we have had..tender meat excellent selection of vegetables. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Lovely new and light dining area and not over crowded like some .

Probably the best carvery around in terms of variety of meat and veg options. Some veg can be slightly undercooked but plenty of other choices. Only issue really is the number of kids and associated noise at Sunday lunchtime, but would be nice for families. Overall will definitely continue going here.

Outstanding service, thank you Edward!!!!!!!!!!! Had breakfast and dinner on the same day which both were fabulous and very good value for money . Would have booked for the following day ( Sunday lunch) but it was fully booked. Will definitely return !!!!!!!!

What a perfect end to the working week, we can’t recommend this pub enough. Steamed salmon was absolutely delicious, thank you sooo much.

Food piping hot which is unusual for a carvery. Excellent selection of vegetables, none of which were over cooked. Although quite busy, the bar service was very good.

We had a very pleasant family meal at the Royal Oak. We all opted for the carvery. The staff were very helpful accommodating a member of the group who was a vegetarian. They offered a non meat option plus vegetarian gravy. There was an abundant of vegetables/ sides to accompany the carvery meat. Everything was cooked well and hot. The feed back from the group was positive with all saying that they would be happy to eat at the restaurant again!

Had a very enjoyable evening, restaurant very busy but didn’t have to wait too long for meals. Lovely food, excellent carvery....in a very friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

We had a great meal and were looked after by pleasant, helpful staff in a clean, modern environment. Restaurant now has it's own entrance which is a great improvement.

I booked but then 3 of us were expected to sit on a table for 2. They did move us into the hallway which was much better but cold whenever someone came into the pub or left the door open. Although we were in full view of the till we were virtually ignored and had to attract their attention to ask for anything. The food was lovely but the service sadly lacking. Unfortunately, it will be our first and last visit there.
